Or I didn't remember the title correctly and it was an other album . Just looked at their back catalogue; it was 'Snowfall On Judgment Day' from 2009.

Playing the live discs from the weekend 2011, to maintain the vibe from last weekend in my head

At the weekend 2013 Marillion played three great 2,5 hour sets in a row, with Brave on Saturday evening as the pinnacle. It's still my favourite album and I had never heard it live in its entirety, what a treat and what an impressive performance, superb!! The audience was amazing too, 32 countries partying together and making a lot of noise

It must have been a great experience, really ! I wish I could be more receptive to Marillion's 21th century music to share such events but unfortunately ... 

NP Majestic - V.O.Z. Another unknow project for me so far, once again discovered through progstreaming.com and once again this is very interesting stuff to say the least.

NP Marathon - The First Run

Maybe some of our Dutch Roomies know/knew them ? I read that they have disbanded but another Dutch band, ENorm is playing their songs live as a tribute these days. If I understand correctly, the ten Bros brothers were in Marathon and created ENorm afterwards, Erik ten Bos being the main songwriter of both bands. Anyway this Marathon album is great. At times, it reminds me of Saga for the (terribly dated) keyboards sound and of Rush for the vocals but it can be labelled as neo-prog without problem. Think 80s Marillion, Pallas and Pendragon. An excellent surprise

The band is a result of Eric Peterson's interest in darker music, and not being able to do that with Testament he formed Dragonlord. The band combines elements of black metal (screeching vocals, keyboards) with some thrash guitar influences.
