NP  Yes:  Open your Eyes

OK, there is one great song on this album:  Man In The Moon. Remember it now. Yup, one of Yes' best, melodic, humorous, and lots of nice details  *horns*

Actually makes it worth having the album.

This is the middle-aged version of "whose is longest ?"   :D

Nicky.

Nah I don't think I have that many I stopped buying cd's in any quantity for about 15 years when I was poor  ::).

I only really started buying again 5 or so years ago but admittedly have gone a bit ballistic in the last few years.

Still the other half buys lots of shoes so I can get away with it for a while or until she opens the cupboard in my office.  :o.

Okey Dokey fair play to you.

Just wondered.

On a different tack where/how do you keep all the buggers.

I've always wanted a house big enough to have a library (books and CD's) but living in London it ain't gonna happen. Mrs Iggy wants to put them all in the loft. She just does not understand.  >:(

I think the next cool thing would be to have electronic booklets on the CD as well.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be especially evasive, I just thought aiming for a comedian's reply might be better than going for an accountants.  ;)  Couldn't quote figures, anyway, without doing some digging - I found that once I got into four figures all milestones were in the past and I lost interest in counting.  ::)

Storage isn't a huge problem, as I don't live in London.  ;D  Half live in the smallest bedroom, half live on the landing, and the remainder (I was never much for maths!) are scattered around what might loosely be termed my 'office'.  These tend to be recent purchases and ones that I'm just ripping to mp3.

One thing I can tell you (spotting books at the ready!) is that I've got 1,301 ripped so far, if iTunes is to be believed.

ta I thought you would be in the 4 figure amount.

I have a fair way to go to get there although if you include boots (ahem) I have a meagre 88 hours of Yes music (ok a bit fanatical)

NP Ten Twilight Chronicles.

Simon Says - Tardigrade.
I'm getting hugely into this band at the moment - classic classic prog, if you can work that out.  :o

I suspect that with a "meagre 88 hours of Yes music" you're not in any great rush!   ;D

True I am not sure I like the idea of other bands doing yes music still I guess I will give it a pop at some stage.

I've been playing The Flower Kings' Paradox Hotel a lot lately.
I haven't played it for a long time partly because i thought that it's a real TFK album but nothing more, no real highlights, but if you take a good listen there's lot to explore actually.
There are plenty of good songs on it that has the chill-factor, like Monsters & Men, Hit Me With A Hit, Bavarian Skies and Blue Planet.

So now playing: The Tangent - A Place In The Queue  ;D  :P

Always been one of my fave TFKs, that one, along with Unfold the Future.  Something for everyone in the TFK back-catalogue.  *horns*

NP: Styx - Paradise Theater.

Cheesey but good.  I saw them on the Paradise Theater tour and thought that, on stage, they were actually too cheesey for me.  I still love the album, though.  :)

I have to be in the mood* for this one, but when I am (and that's now) I think it's utterly wonderful!  *horns*

* And as I'm supposed to be working at the moment, I'm in the mood for pretty much anything other than what I should be doing.  ;)

Another Amazon 2.98 bargain, handy for padding out those CD collections.  Remember kiddies, the more stacks of CDs you have, the less vacuuming you need to do.  ;D
