Yeah, I actually just read an article about them in a Dutch rock/metal-magazine. How are they like? Cause I don't get a clear impression from reading that article. I know I could just go to their MySpace or something but I want to know someone's opinion on them before I give them a try.
Tom

Well, I guess thunderous folky, Irish pagan/black metal with raw/raspy vocals about sums them up !! Excellent stuff  *horns* *horns*

Does that help !?!?

Certainly visit  http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=68887128  and let the music speak for itself.

Enjoy  *horns*

I'm givin it a run (Primordial on MySpace).

Sounds good, but a bit too rough for me to buy a CD with them.

Opeth is as far as I go with CD's.

Thanks for the experience, Mdread  :)

Indeed!
Mika is very fun!
But also very weird in some songs...
I really like his high-pitched voice.

Yeah... no idea what happened there - sounds as if he took the title song of "The Fraggles" and sang new lyrics to it!  ;)

Well, that song isn't that good indeed. But "Grace Kelly" is quite addictive if you'd ask me.
And "My Interpretation" is also very nice.
"Love Today" is also very uplifting.

But I could do without "Billy Brown"...

Just listened to Ayreon - Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer.
Very cool indeed, it's beginning to grow on me!

I finally had the time to listen to some songs on their MySpace today...and I like it!! 8) Their music is great! The vocals need some time getting used to though but I'm sure I will succeed eventually. Thanks for the heads up!  *horns* *horns* *horns*

NP  Opeth:  Ghost Reveries

One of my absolute favorites  *horns*

Rather rough and grating on the first several listens, but a real grower and winner for the patient listener.

Masses of exciting details emerge with the many listens, and there's hardly a singer who's as manysided as Mikael Å  :)

Heavies, if you dont have this one, then getit  8)

Not now, but soon playing:

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (for PC).
Yeah! Finally I've got a new (not "new" new, just newer than my old...) computer! With a 256 MB graphics card. Anyone who knew that my old graphics card was broken 4 years ago, will know that I'm extremely happy now.

And what is the best game to try your new (newer...) computer with?
Metal Gear!

Homework, beware! 8)

Ayreon - Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer
10. The First Man On Earth

With Neal Morse! Woohoo! Nice happy song!

Actually, I think I have to say that The Dream Sequencer is better than Flight Of The Migrator.
I know I said different at first, but most of the songs on TDS are addictive while the songs on FOTM are mostly too heavy for me... yet. :-[

For now: *horns*
