Pink Floyd - The Wall

Track: [Disc II # 01] Hey You

Cause of Injury: Lack of Adhesive Ducks.

Iggy

Unholy wars From rebirth by Angra my favourite track on the Album (Nicky)

Steve Jones

Carptree - Man Made Machine.

As I think I've mentioned on here before, this CD has never completely clicked for me.  However, one track ('In the Centre of an Empty Space') is so bl**dy good that I don't care about the rest! *horns*

And you seem to like the Steve Hogarth albums very much.
Please tell me, which one should I absolutely listen to?

What Mr 'Living IQ Fan' Bupie said is as good a recommendation as any ;)

Ah...I'm looking forward to getting these but waiting for them to fall in price a bit. The next 3 are currently up for pre-order at £7.99 at CDWOW which is more reasonable price. Class band, class albums too  8)

We have a website in France called PriceMinister where you can find all kind of music at a very reasonable price if you don't mind buying used cd's.

Two months ago, I only had a 30 years bad souvenir of a single try at this band's music (No Place To Run album). Now I'm having a lot of fun discovering their back catalogue. It reminds me of what happened to me with Dream Theater a few years ago (although DT's discography is probably more complex and diverse). Phil Mogg is one of the finest singers in classic rock history and Michael Schenker, well, his guitar speaks for him  *horns*

NP: Marillion - Beaujolais Day

Tom

Where is the song taken from ? The title seems more Fish's Marillion that H's Marillion orientated  :)

Indeed.  It's a 'Clutching at Straws' era track - can be found on the bonus disc of that album.

NP: Fish - Uncle Fish & the Crypt-Creepers.

RPWL - God Has Failed.

Possibly the most Floyd-sounding RPWL release, but damned good.  Depending on my mood, this one can be my RPWL favourite *horns*

Threshold - Surface To Air (New Version)

Nice song. Don't get me wrong, I REALLY like Damian's vocals, but to me Mac was much better for Threshold. :'(

Today I listened to some Eleven on their MySpace. Sounds good! :) It's very 'American'-sounding, if you know what I mean. If not, too bad, 'cause I'm not gonna explain it! :P But I dig it. I like to get away from prog once in a while, and this band is a very good alternative when I'm in a non-prog-mood!

Nicky, did you do your homework as well? Did you give Dark Suns a listen? ;)

A bit ... but only a bit  ;)

I noticed that they're from Leipzig. I actually lived just outside of Leipzig for a year when I was 12-13. My piano teacher wanted me to study at the conservatory in Leipzig - yaknow, Leipzig with Bach and all that. Yup, I was that talented, guys. Those were the days, carefree - like Paxi  ;D

Have you tried Disillusion, Tom, another band from Leipzig ?  They're real good, their lyrics and singing too. I have Back to Times of Splendor by them - great album  *horns*

Yeah, I spent the past two days preparing a job application for a language school. I wanted to make it as good as possible, and to my mind it has turned out  *horns*

I'v mowed the lawns that I gotta in this life (stick to clipping bushes now)  :D

Let's see. Denmark is a very normed country; they don't like long-haired guys like me (or Måd). (Of course, Paxi will now say "How about cuttin it then?" Well, yaknow the story about Samson?)  ;)

Nice, Tommy. I got all their five albums - all fine  8)

Guess Howling Book would be the place to start.

God only knows whether they'l make any more, now that Natasha is on the other side. They have nuff stuff, but  :'(

Right, Tom. There's a lot of anti-yankee spirit here in the Room. The limeys (and their Dutch cohorts) are now tryin to take over the States with prog imperialism  :o ;D

NP  Chris Cornell

This guy sings like  :) 8) :-* :'( *horns* ;)

A very melodic album  :)

There's a great cover of Billie Jean.

Prefer the strangeness of Euphoria tho. Hey Alain, where did you get lost ?   *horns*
