This morning I played Shadowland - Mad as a Hatter, later on Evergrey - In Search of Truth (wasn't impressed)

I wasn't impressed with Evergrey either.

And Blackfield is beautiful.
I can't help it, sure, it's no prog, but I rarely hear such beautiful short easy-listening music as Blackfield.

It is indeed (I have a copy of it ) But I love that album. It will always remind me of little party with lot's of drinks in England. One of my best memories from my vacation.

Yes, when I mailed Arjen several years ago that I had ordered it, but it wasn't deliverable, he just sent me one with the words 'Teunis rules, Arjen' in the booklet . Very grateful for that, Arjen rules as well

By the way, my cousin (the one that posted here, but is gone, dunno why and where) said to me that a friend of his (dunno his name) works in a shop and that one of his collegues is Arjen himself!!!

In other words: I know someone, who knows someone, who knows Arjen personally!
That way you all know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows Arjen!

About Arjen Lucassen as a person. I don't know him very well, but I've met him several times and he seems to me to be a genuinely nice person. When he says he has "the best fans in the world" I know he means it, and that we all mean a lot to him. And that's also what sets Arjen from other musicians (together with people like Clive/Mick or Marcela/Davy [SoP]), he (they) keeps in touch with his fans on a personal level. And that makes it so much more worth to a fan.

Well, I used to listen to music like that when I was younger... then there was all this Industrial and New Metal stuff and I found out I quite liked that. Bottom line - Ten is ok, but not heavy enough...

About Arjen Lucassen as a person. I don't know him very well, but I've met him several times and he seems to me to be a genuinely nice person.

He not only seems - he is. When I was at an Arena fanclub meeting he came over and talked to me just because the Arena guys did too. (My boyfriend freaked out because Arjen is one of his heroes, but he didn't speak to him!)
