Personally I don't like the majority of "Space Metal" material, except for two final tracks.  ;)

The Voyager

Â Deep Purple - "Come Hell or High Water"(Blackmore's swan song).   :(

Good thing this topic isn't for Star One discussions then ;)

Still playing Sonata Arctica, can't stop listening to it :)

The Fury

Pink Floyd - The Division Bell

First time I'm hearing the entire album.
It's kinda.....quiet....like it though.
Why do you laugh at my hopeless appeal for your mercy?

Deenfan

Ayreon - The human equation

Nice one

Better late than never... And I like to listen to this one (in spite of some rancorous critics view).

The Voyager

TEN(1996). I think, their best still.

It's number is six hundred and sixty six.

The Voyager

Â  TEN - Far Beyond The World. Mancunian hard rockers in very good form.  :)

The Voyager

Metamorphosis - "Then All Was Silent". They definitively belong to the top of the modern prog scene.  :-*It should be a real winner with anyone who can enjoy late eras from Genesis and Pink Floyd. Metamorphosis concept album starts and ends with just marvellous songs (although there is a very good content in between). Excellent addition to any prog-collection!

Arena - The Visitor tr. 12 Enemy Without

Oh, our love doesn't end here, it lives forever on the wings of time'

Toto - Wings of time (Kingdom of Desire)

Well, today, I took 4 hours off work to claim back four hours of "overtime"....and then I promptly spent 1330-1930hrs, designing an electrical wiring diagram for a work-related project at home on the PC...
Sum total of my "half-day off"...?
The company now owes me a further two hours O/T...LOLOL

But I spent the time in the best possible way, by playing my newly-purchased Bowie CDs...bought purely for archive-and-reminiscencing (sp?) porpoises (SPx2...?!)

Just got "Stage" to do...currently listening to "Low"..."always crashing in the same car" is perhaps the greatest underplayed Bowie song ever...apart from all of the other ones obviously...! (phew...just got away with that...! ;))
Previous, we've done "Hunky Dory", "A ladd inSane", "Space Oddity", "Heroes", and "Ziggy".

Camel - Stationary Traveller (Remastered)...can't wait to find out how the extended mix of Pressure Points differs from the original...and the running order of the remaster is different from the original, plus a new track is included vis In The Arms Of Waltzing Frauleins...

Ok - quick update...Pressure Points is now a whopping 6'14", versus the original of 2'10"....is it better, I hear you ask...
No, IMHO...the original is a short but relevant album-opener.
The new version is rambling, and irrelevant...especially as it's now the last track on the album  ???
And the new track In The Arms Of Waltzing Frauleins isn't anything special IMHO

But the overall sound-quality is massively improved...especially the snare...!

Good choice, Teunis. As far as I know, this wonderful track was dedicated to former Nick Barrett wife. :(

The Voyager

Praying Mantis - "The Journey Goes On". Thier best effort for some last years.
