Yes - Sound Chaser from The Word is Live. It definitely shows what an awesome guitarist Steve Howe is.

Neal Morse - Testimony Two (in anticipation of the upcoming album 'Momentum', just more than a week to go  8))

Astra ~ The Last Chord

Their previous album, The Weirding already astounded me but this one is even a tad bit better.
Too bad that it's short though.
Would've liked more music on this album.
Seventies progrock is the key-word here.
Nothing metal about it, but don't let that scare you off, plebs!!!  *horns*

Edit:

Random trivia/anecdote:

Instead of typing 'liked', I replaced that word with ... licked.

That would be soo dumb!!!  :-X :P :P :P

Fair to Midland ~ Anchors and Arrows

A bit of a softer Mastodon clone.
Quite enjoyable.  *horns*

NP Caamora - Journeys End

This is a very enjoyable 2-disc compilation of the acoustic two man shows Clive and Agnieszka did around the world for She, with various guest vocalists. It also has some interesting studio tracks not available elsewhere, such as the title track and the She outtake In Aeternum. Recommended.

A nice pop-rock album with no risks but a few great moments (Tomorrow The World, Face On The Bridge ...). Thanks to Teunis for the recommendation  ;)

Magenta - Chameleon

I was eagerly waiting for it and had been desappointed at first listens. Not bad but not as exciting as I hoped. But I am still confident that it will grow on me slowly  :)

Iggy

NP A Momentary Lapse of Reason - Pink Floyd
JP Arjen Anthony Lucassen - Lost in the New Real

NP Saga - 20/20

Solid and energetic "comeback" album.

PP Flying Colors - Flying Colors
Some very good songs here. Is somebody going to see them during their European Tour ?

NP Threshold - March Of Progress
Second listen and it's beginning to click. Ashes really has a great chorus, it's a stellar opener in the line of Light And Space or Phenomenom, to name a few.

I read that most of Threshold's back catalog is about to be reedited with bonuses. An occasion to complete my collection (I have nothing prior to Hypothetical)

I got that as well. I thought I might try them from the newer end.

I quite like it. It has potential

NP The English Electric Pt 1 - Big Big Train

I also got March Of Progress. Haven't listened all of it yet, but what I heard was good!

Now, I just finished listening/watching this:

Man... that was absolutely beautiful! Got a tear in my eye! Now I really need some Devin Townsend albums! I guess I better start with the upcoming Epicloud.

I was hesitating to buy this one : I don't know BBT yet but this last album is receiving an almost unanimous praise so far.

NP Vanden Plas - Beyond Daylight

Almost forgot .... Also played the new EP from Moon Safari. Just 1 track (24:20) but I'm impressed! Hurry, it's only available for one week ;).

NP: Echolyn - Echolyn  (on progstreaming)

2nd play for me - Overall, I like it.  Some passages are maybe not so interesting, but worth a few listens IMO.

Also played (a few times):  Moon Safari - Lover's End Pt. III (Skelleftea Serenade):

More pretty stuff from these guys.  This is just a 1-song (very long song) EP that is, I suppose, a companion to their latest studio album.
"What is that sound?  It's confusing, and boy is it loud!"

Teunis

Asia - Phoenix
Toto - Isolation

Progstreaming added some interesting albums:
Threshold - March Of Progress
Big Big Train - English Electric Part 1
Mostly Autumn - The Ghost Moon Opera
and many more ...

Will certainly listen to these albums this weekend  8)

I've been listening a lot to Storm Corrosion lately. I think it's a very cool album. I really love it. It's really something special.
I already have ten 2012 releases, but can't really make a top ten yet, since I haven't really listened well enough to most of these releases.
Still I think "Weather Systems" will be first and "Storm Corrosion" second.

I'm still working through these (and the year isn't over yet):
Neal Morse's "Momentum" (I know I'm going to like it, but perhaps not as much as "Testimony Two" or "Sola Scriptura".)
Gazpacho's "March Of Ghosts" (Haven't been 'in the mood' for this music yet.)
It Bites' "Map Of The Past" (Listened to it four times now I think, but "The Tall Ships" seems to be the better one for me.)
Arjen Lucassen's "Lost In The New Real" (I found out that I'm not really a fan of his voice after one and a half hours of (otherwise nice) music.)
Kaipa's "Vittjar" (Like an "In The Wake Of Evolution" part two.)
Threshold's "March Of Progress" (Is probably another great release.)
OSI's "Fire Make Thunder" (Nothing new, but still cool and unlike anything else.)
The Flower Kings's "Banks Of Eden" (Since my previous endeavours regarding TFK didn't bring me any satisfactory results, I'm inclined to avoid listening to this release a bit. But I'll get back to it!)

There's a lot of work to do! And the interesting releases keep coming...
