Recently bought Pendragon - Believe (re-mastered) and I'm liking it a lot  :D

Re-mastered? Allready? Tell me, besides that it has been re-mastered, what's so different about it?

I can't tell you what's different, because I don't own the original. It does include 2 bonus tracks "Armageddon" & "Insomnia" which have been re-recorded.

Ehhmm I think you've made a mistake. ;)
I guess Helen means The Jewel (Remastered). That one has Armageddon and Insomnia on it.
Of course there isn't a remastered version of Believe. :D

Oh by the way, I'm not really a Pendragon fan. ;)
I think Believe is too spacey with just a few (3 or something) good songs on it, I might try the other albums though.

Imagine a bit of Wind & Wuthering-Genesis in a 2005 shape with a bit of Kino and a bit of OSI or Porcupine Tree mixed with Atomic Kitten.

Or something like that. ;D

A progressive rockband with Erik Norlander on keyboards, Mark McCrite on vocals, Tommy Amato on drums and Don Schiff on the Chapman Stick. The album 'Oblivion Days' is quite heavy, Erik's wife Lana Lane does some harmony vocals and Arjen Lucassen plays rhytm guitars on several tracks and solo guitars on one track. I think that's why you remember the name of the band  ;). Other guest players on this album are Neil Citron, Greg Ellis and Tony Franklin. Difficult to describe the music, but the keyboards are the most present.

Just ordered Shadowland - Through the Looking Glass. Very curious, it's my first Shadowland album.

I listened to that one this morning. Great stuff! Very much Arenalike where they tried to be more mainstream.
It is absolutely GREAT and a MUST for an Arena fan!

Hmm... didn't think it was that good.
The Legend series are somewhat better though. And the Saviour Machine track on ProgArchives "Carnaval Of Souls" is also very good!
Although, I prefer the voice of Eric Clayton (which is absolutely EXCELLENT, don't get me wrong! Among the best voices I've heard!) with Ayreon.

Ehhmmm... I haven't bought anything between now and the last time... ;)

CD Nightwish - End of an Era *horns*

Monsters & Co (the English version is Monsters Inc. btw).
I've seen the English version and when Sullivan says "You go to sleep" I always wondered how the dutch (or any other language) would translate that, since Sullivan is using gestures. (Jij gaat twee slapen...?)

Please let me know as soon as you (and your son) watched it! ;)
