So how about trying some Outworld then, e.g.

Paxi, how about throwing in some links with some of your fave stuff that I don't know, like some good ones with Big Big Train. I'll play them - I try to follow up on everything that's thrown into the Room.
You can listen to BBT's English Electric Full Power or the EP Make Some Noise on progstreaming.com.

Nope, Bupie, you missed the point: I want some specific linkies, preferably on YouTube, which is my preferred medium ;)

My basic intent is that we start taking each other a bit more seriously in the Room, not just burst in and throw stuff around randomly ;)

The Black Noodle Project

Sounds like something that you usually don't listen to, Teunis - some nice rollercoaster guitar and synths wirrwirr, with some juicy growl  ;D

Here, guys, special for you: One of the most brilliant - and charming - guitarists in the World:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tOE1nOdHQU

Just for the totally ignorant: Rusty Cooley is the guitarist of Outworld. Outworld I is to my mind the pinnacle of metal  *horns*

Till now it's their only release. But we're all hoping ..... :-\

And Paxi, he's a person of deep faith :)

Secret: All the biggies are.

NP  Rusty Cooley: Self-titled

This is his first studio album, from 2003. Here you can hear a full-fledged guitarist, both technically and emotionally.

Here's a real nice piece from the album. It starts out easily, and then ... !!! Breathtaking  *horns*

Rusty Cooley:  Dark Matter   www.youtube.com/watch?v=s06h6UGD3GM

Listen to it with headphones ;)

I don't click with Outworld but enjoyed the 1st vid though.

Yup, Iggy. I like Rebirth, may end up liking Angels Cry (not a priority atm), but I'm crazy about:

NP  Angra:  Holy Land

Keep returning to it. Must be something about it ;)

Yes, I do miss the point. Since you listened to the whole Holy Land album on YT, I don't get why you could not do the same thing with English Electric on Progstreaming ...

But if you want a specific link, here it is : http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/pages/play-album.php?activeAlbum=00551  The first two tracks are just killers, each in its own style. Keeper Of Abbeys is another favorite of mine.

Easy answer, Bupie: In this global society with so much to offer, I feel it's important to prioritise. As I indicated earlier, I prefer to spend looots of time with things I consider high quality, rather than fritter away my attention on everything.

We're different. Big Big Train just doesn't grip me in any way similar to Holy Land. However, I'd like to get a little taste of what you guys are so enthusiastic about - so just one or two well-chosen links ;)

I'm so happy listening to Holy Land over and over again, and now also:

NP  Angra: Fireworks

- partly thanx to your insistence, Bupie  :)

Great, Funky 8)

Had to punk you a bit to get you to listen to it (as always), but once you get around to it, you usually persevere :)

Just did Decapitated's Carnival Is Forever, and thought of you :o ??? ::) ;)

Well, copy the link when you listen to the album and then try to paste it, you'll understand  ;)

Happy that you like Keeper. I could have mentioned Seen Better Days too. The whole double album will be harder to swallow in one piece, though.

Maybe, but right now I'v been enuff in outer space - you'r good at winditwisting things, Bupie ;)

Think I'll just go by the songtitles you guys post, and do'm on YouTube - that's most straightforward for me .... :)

But enuff BBT for the moment - doesn't really grip me (yet) - so need some:

Wiki:  Bal-Sagoth is a symphonic black metal band from Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, formed in 1993. Originally formed as an epic/symphonic black metal band with strong death metal elements, vocalist/lyricist Byron Roberts took the name 'Bal-Sagoth' from the Robert E. Howard short story "The Gods of Bal-Sagoth".

I'v only heard them slightly. Now I'd like to get better into'm. They'r quite special - in a nice way 8)
