Anyone with me?

A.C.T are pantheon with me, Paxi, and Last Epic is one of my fave albums  *horns*

Havent listened to'm for a while tho, gotta get back to'm soon .....

NP  Periphery II: This Time It's Personal

Fabulous album, highly original, varied, melodic, constantly engaging  *horns*

None else into Periphery ?

Paxi, I'd consider Periphery a bit too wild for your taste, including shout, growl. You should rather listen to Royal Hunt, you'l like'm for sure, give'm a proper listen, actually very much the same sensibilities as Arena, e.g. take some of the songs on my classic list  ;)

Oh, and I forgot to say: Animals as Leaders also made it to my prog pantheon. They'r real wild, so I don't know whether anyone else here has the b*s for it, but they'r definitely one of the most exciting groups around these days, some interesting philosophy of life too  *horns*

And Billy Sheehan too, my fave bassist, with his fabulous studio album Cosmic Troubadour. His most remarkable performance imo is on Explorers Club's "Age of Impact", which is one of my toptop albums. Billy and Terry Bozzio together create a monster rhythm section. Also Steve Vai's "Real Illusions: Reflections", with Billy, is top-league. A few years ago, I saw Vai and Sheehan together at a concert, and that was simply mindblowing. When Billy's in the mix, you can be sure that there's some good stuff goin on. Why he's devoted to Scientology beats me totally, but for me that doesnt detract from his greatness as a musician  *horns*

Bupie, I have the first three studio albums of Pagan's Mind. I like the music a lot, but the singing jars me somewhat, or rather, did on several listens  :-\

I also want to revisit PM soon. Man, all those great bands  *horns*

Of course, the cover of God's Equation  :-* That's enuff for a Frenchie

Yes, I had trouble with the singing at first too. A bit high-pitched for my liking.

I've got the first two albums, but not that one.  I really must investigate...

Galahad - Beyond the Realms of Euphoria
First listen and it's absolutely awesome.  Battle Scars didn't grab me as much as this - perhaps I need to go back and revisit it while I'm in the mood 8)

At first I got the same feeling about the two albums, but Battle Scars isn't that bad at all.
Euphoria is a tad bit better but it lacks a stunning song like Seize the Day (Battle Scars)
Both albums are great.

NP> Riverside ~ Memories in my Head

Yeah, I gave Battle Scars a good listen again last night, while I seemed to be in the right mood, and certainly enjoyed it a lot more *horns*
