Well, completeness is part of it I must say.  But I also think that the acoustic version gives a slightly different atmosphere, the songs aren't exactly the same. That's a little add-on to a Contagion collection.

Indeed it is. It reminds me of Anathema from time to time. 

By the way, what do you think of the lyrics?

Well to be honest I think that you might be happy to know that I found some translations upon the internet.
That makes it a bit easier, meaning more understandable.

But when you hear the album: It actually sounds like algebra to me.

Talkin bout Austria, Cap, you should try DeadSoul Tribe. Not at all as badass as it sounds, no, their music is quite meme (mellow metal), with wonderful singing by Devon Graves (aka Buddy Lackey, from his time in Psychotic Waltz), and terrific drumming by Adel Moustafa, tribal at times, and even some fluting, as Devon has been inspired by Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull. I actually like all their (until now) five studio albums, but some people prefer their first two, Dead Soul Tribe and A Murder Of Crows (a pun, "murder" also means "flock").

Hey Tom, I'v been thinkin about gettin that one. Mew are quite big in DK (Danish group), also among serious music geeks. Could you try to characterise it ?  Dya think that I would enjoy it ?  Should one start with this Mew album, or rather another of theirs ?

The funny thing is though that even though wikipedia claims that Deadsoul Tribe is from Austria, their own site as well as their Myspace site states that they're from Orlando, Florida which is very far from Austria. That's more likely since Devon is born in the U.S. and not in Austria.
The band is currently on a hold by the way. Some even say the band has split up.
Devon is currently working on a project called The Shadow Theory.
