AC/DC - Powerage

The first album I bought by myself, fascinated by the cover. I remember coming back home on my mob with the vinyl inside my pullover to protect it from the rain. And what a shock when I first played it. Man that was soooo good   *horns*

What ? Yes, I know I am old ...

You're old...

Anyone else into this group ?

NP  Nevermore:  This Godless Endeavor  (title song & last track on album TGE)

Arguably the ultimate rock piece:  If rock is about crying out one's anguish, then this one sure does it. Something very Existentialist and Nietzschean about this piece. Breathtaking !!!

I'd be interested to hear what you guys think about it  ;)

Peter Hammill - Over.

Classic 'angst' album.  '(On Tuesdays She Used To Do) Yoga' must be one of the best 'My Baby Gone & Left Me' type lyrics I've ever heard.  *horns*

What do you think of it?

Good, so far, but I've only played it four times as yet.  Most Verve/Aschroft stuff has taken me a whille to really get into as it's fairly laid back and not particularly in your face.

There must be a lot of angst in them too, after The Station nightclub fire  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Station_nightclub_fire .

What's s/he like, Stevie ?

NP  Nevermore:  Enemies Of Reality

Just acquired this album together with Iced Earth's The Reckoning today at Malmö Skivhandel. Now I have all 7 of Nevermore's studio albums.

Next step is differentiating them. That'l take some time - pretty overwhelming music  *horns*
