How about trying out Mercenary ?  They're my fave Danish band, and actually quite close to Circus Maximus (oughta make some lights blink with you).

I don't know what it is with all those Danish bands to be honest. I saw Saybia live last June at Pinkpop and their performance made me check out their back-catalogue. Now I'm totally in love with their latest album.

I wrote Mercenary down in front of my computerscreen so I won't forget to check them out maybe this evening. Especially since you say they're quite close to CM.   Thanks for the tip Nicky!!

By the way, don't you think it's about time for a new CM album?

Mercenary are in the top league, and in my prog pantheon now.

As I wrote earlier:  "... I'd recom The Hours That Remain as a M-starter, maybe not their most original, but their most melodic and accessible album."

By the way, don't you think it's about time for a new CM album?

Yup, it would be interesting to hear what they're up to now, after having broken thru (prog) bigtime and are able to get assisted by the leading specialists.
