Kim Mitchell - Ain't Life Amazing. 

Soaring, fluid guitar work.  Catchy tunes.  My only complaint is the former Max Webster frontman doesn't release albums often enough.

Which concert were you planning to go to?

I'm planning to see them in Utrecht, on October 8th. 

I was thinking about going to the Tivoli show as well, or maybe to Zoetermeer on October 11th since that's closer to home. But I've been there far too much lately!

To be honest I think I'm still going, Anathema is great as well, but I was so disappointed after reading a review of their show at progwereld.org...

Today I listened to:
Frank Klepacki - C&C: Tiberian Sun
A very gloomy soundtrack. Great dark mood and atmosphere.

Also some A.C.T songs (from "Last Epic" and "Silence"). I played just a selection, because my dad was in the same room. He was whistling along. He said it sounded a bit like Styx.

Now I'm listening to nothing.

Well, they (nothing) released their debut album simply called "nothing" somewhere in 1967, or perhaps a bit sooner, later or never.
The band has no members and they're coming from nowhere, somewhere and anywhere.
The track I was listening to was "not there".
They sound like... well, like nothing actually...

Forget what I said earlier bout ELO. OK, Jeff's lyrics were so-so, and a lot of their stuff was terribly syrupy - but they sure had their moments

I do love you guys - a lot, altho not in a way that gets physical    - but at the moment I'm on a heavy prog metal spin - if you can imagine that    - and I wanna see what like-minded dudes think about Nevermore, Iced Earth, Mercenary, and the ilk, so ....

Right, what happened to those guys    Maybe Appy got unappy cause we didnt wanna shaaare his lady (hope not). Cap must be around, cause the Room is kept nice and clean; would be good to hear from him again
