Now if you'd drink some more beer, Tom ...... ;D

NP  Kamelot:  Ghost Opera

Hm, pretty good, I must say ..... in fact, real good ..... or should we admit at last: f*ingly crazily good  *horns*

Took some time, cause: It's reeeal heavy stuff, man.

I already liked Khan in Conception. And here he's over the top !

And most surprising: the production. Although there's lots of banging around, often at a whacky tempo, everything stands out amazingly clearly.

Man, the world really is fullo surprises  ;)

Nicky.

Frankly said i think that The Black Halo is far better than Ghost Opera.  :-\

Np> Spock's Beard - Flow

*horns* *horns* *horns*
Cause of Injury: Lack of Adhesive Ducks.

funkster

The visitor.

Peppers ghost and Immortal get much more of a listen at Funkster Towers so i gave the visitor a spin last night for the fisrt time in a while and it was wonderful  ;D

NP  Blücher (on Kamelot's Ghost Opera)

These guys really cut it  *horns*

Here you go (Wiki): "The Blücher was a German Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruiser. She was the Kriegsmarine's newest ship at the outbreak of World War II. She was sunk by Norwegian shore defences at the Battle of Drøbak Sound on April 9, 1940, less than three years after her launch, on the first day of the invasion of Norway (Operation Weserübung)."

Real German metal ! But I prefer Sieges Even and Vanden Plas. At worst, they destroy my Bürgerlichkeit  ;D

You really get into heavy-cruiser-mode with this one.

Hey Mad, you better get your Ghost Opera spinnin again. This stuff is soooooo gooooood  ;)

Nicky

So you've come of age

Well, there is another Blücher who became famous in 1815 but, since I am French, I won't say anything more about it ...

Nicky007

Yeah, the French army, Bups  ;)

The French have big mouths and excellent wine and chaaarming men, but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of life, well what should we say: Trés charmant.

Well, Nicky, since you are so disagreeable with me, I have to get some solace so ...

NP Nightwish - Ghost Love score    *horns*

I suggest you take a look at this video built upon the song by a fan  : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMyn7ZqkTlY

As bombastic as a napoleonian battle ...

The're some good Christians for Paco there, on black horses and with spikes on their heads and stuff. Pusle liked the black cat best of all.

I thought Viggo was a Russian cab driver, but he seems to have lost his way .......  ;D

NP  Russ Allen:  Atomic Soul

I like the guy's singing lots. The music's not as lively as SyX, but seems to be Russ' tribute to his musical influences.

Well, let's give it some spins and see  :)

Maybe true, Nicky but not always. For example i rate Peppers Ghost a bit higher than Contagion.  ;)

NP> Spock's Beard - The Healing Colours Of Sound

Though it's not really an Epic it does sound awesome indeed.  8)

Cause of Injury: Lack of Adhesive Ducks.

NP  Communic:  Waves Of Visual Decay

Excellent, gripping, repeatworthy  *horns*

Norwegian trio. It's heavy metal allright, and unrelenting, but once you properly get into this world, you realise that there is a tremendous scope for expression. And these guys use all these possibilities with skill. No mindless thrashing e.g.

Man, there's so much terrific music around nowadays. You just have to look out for it  *horns*

No, from the one before that is called Once. It was before they lost/fired  :'( their incredible singer, Tarja Turonen. And it's their best song so far, IMHO, even if it takes a little time to get used to it. And their proggiest too ...

NP  Tool:  Lateralus

Tool are one of the absolute greatest bands.

Not many roomies seem to listen to them, so I'd like to create a bit more interest.

I know that Mad likes'm lots (and next-lateralest is Lateralus  ;D ), and I would think that iac Tom and John would enjoy'm, and even Bups, if we still can rescue him from female seductions  ;D

Tool are very special; nobody sounds like'm (aint that right, Mad). A bit of Floyd, a dash of Dead Soul Tribe, a sliver of DT, a pinch of Queensrÿche (the ¨ special for Mad), and even a sprinkling of Korn, but most of all: a big chunk of Tool  :D :)

And if you're more weird than heavy, Maynard's sideproject A Perfect Circle is a good choice. Maynard's got a mind that beats me (and that might be saying lots  ;D ).

Indeed, women are my main weakness. And, from the seven sins, lust is the only one that really tempts me  ;D even if sloth may have its good sides too ...

I don't know any Tool song yet but I have read that DT's The Great Debate is close to Tool. if it's true, then I should like them ...

Very cool music, but... the subject is not very clear to me... I think I will comment on it in the christian bands section right away.
