I simply cant get why this band isnt a big hit among Arena fans.

These ballads are extraordinarily melodic, full harmonies, full sound, terrific guitars, and Gary Hughes is a very expressive singer.

The same line was running through my mind while posting.  ;D

Also a good example: the way Canadians are pictured in South Park (yes, I admit I've seen some episodes) - you know, with the top half of their head hanging in the air above the rest of their bodies.

Yeah, guys, still on repeat. It's insane how good this stuff is, and how little acknowledged it is.

I found out that Gary Hughes has been the creative force behind Once And Future King, about King Arthur, with people like Arjen Lucassen and Bob Catley on vocals, which is supposed to be great too. Anybody know about that?

Wasn't he the vocalist of Magnum?
If so, they made some pretty nice songs in the past.

On vinyl that is. Never really thought about buying them on CD. Don't ask me why.  :-[

Well... I don't have anything on vinyl (just one or two 'collector's items' - I think I once had a picture disc of Thunder's "Laughing On Judgement Day"...), due to the fact that when I started listening to music (around the age of 14) the CD was the new medium for music, so I never had a record player... but Magnum's still great!  :)
