John Young  Life Underground, Last one home. Anyone that hasnt heard any of this mans work. I cant recommend him highly enough. Hes an extremely talented singer/songwriter and has written alot of stuff for John Wetton and Fish. He plays in the Bonnie Tyler band and is touring keyboard player with The Scorpions, as well as having his own band. Check him out guys!

Ehhmm for as far as I know (and I have heard some bits but not enough of FK) it doesn't sound like the Flower Kings. Wallstreet Voodoo is really bluesy, but there are some bits that could be Flower Kings. Neal Morse sings on some tracks too, really cool actually.
Neal? Ok, I'll buy it ;D

I can't believe you didn't know that...
I check all prog websites I know almost everyday!
And when you check progwereld.org (dutch only) you can see that Roine Stolt's album is here: http://www.progwereld.org/cd-recensies/stoltroine.htm
Check the review and come back to me when you've decided.

've been listening It Bites - Once Around The World today.
All tracks are amazingly good. Kino opened my eyes to this band. Can't wait to hear more from these guys (with the mighty new guitarist!)

np>> Porcupine Tree - [In Absentia (2002)  #04]: The Sound Of Muzak (5:00)

Did I already mention it? I saw them live last Saturday, and it was friggin' AMAZING! The first set (around 50 minutes or so) consisted of unreleased, even unRECORDED material. I loved it!
Arriving somewhere, but not here....

PH

That's cool Peter!!
The Porcupine Tree gig in Holland is sold out... :-[ Who's got my ticket? I'll punch him in the face for that!

;)

By the way, In Absentia is my favourite PT album. I think I prefer it over (the also amazing!!) Deadwing.
And now they've released a remastered double disc of Stupid Dream? Is it good? I might buy it if it is.

My dad let me listen to a song of Angel. It sounded good, a bit like PC-Genesis and It Bites with something else.
Any Angel listeners here?

I need to get my dad listen to the new Prog. He likes Porcupine Tree and Ray Wilson, and I think he doesn't dislike IQ.
But other than that he only listens to Genesis and his horizon is ****ing small... Anything that comes close to Genesis he says: "What a Genesis rip-off" and anything that doesn't come close to Genesis he says: "Nah, I don't like it, it's too heavy" (or something like that). Still he says he is a progger, but when I ask him to name some good music he names the hits of Genesis and some other hits of other bands...

Too bad some one can get converted to pop so easily... I hope I'll be a progger for ever. ;D

Now I feel the urge to play In Absentia, but I can't find the disc and it's also not on my harddisk anymore...
Got to think of something else...

Ayreon then... The Final Experiment! *horns*
