Yes, it's a real stunner.  Also 'Separated Out' is a natural barnstormer of a set-opener.  Check out 'Anorak in the UK Live'  *horns*

Agreed! After three hit and miss albums on which they seemed to be searching for a new direction (TSE, Radiation, .Com - all three good but unbalanced), they found it on this one, helped by the genius of producer Dave Meegan. Great album!

At the moment I'm listening to some very cool music of Frank Klepacki.
This time it's the Command & Conquer: Renegade soundtrack.

How do you like this one?  I've heard one opinion that it's 'nice' but not on the same level as Night and Tick Tock.  Would you say it's worth buying?

Night And Tick Tock are on a different level, that's for sure. Night is the first album where Gazpacho really started to explore more and stretch the songs. The first three albums are more song oriented, but definitely worthwhile though. I enjoy and listen them very much. Each one surpasses the previous one, so if you want to try them the best approach would be to start with Firebird first and then if you like it work further backwards to When Earth Lets Go and then Bravo. One more thing is they use a drum computer instead of a real drummer on Bravo, but that doesn't really bother me. Dutch Progressive Rock Page has (positive) reviews of all their albums if you want to read a bit more than my rambling.

Key tracks that are worth the price of admission:
Bravo: title track and Sea Of Tranquility
When Earth Lets Go: 117 (!!), Dinglers Horses
Firebird: Vulture (!!), Do you Know What You Are Saying, Orion

Thanks, Erik!  Useful and detailed info.   *horns*   Somehow I thought Bravo was the one just before Night.

I just scanned a great comic about an R.E.M. song that a friend gave me last night, but I'm too feebleminded to figure out how to get a copy of it in here.   :-[

So, gettin there, Jonesy ?

I particularly like the song Faithless  *horns*

NP  Ten:  The One  (on Return To Evermore)

Noone writes love songs like Gary Hughes. I think that only if one has loved a woman totally, does one know what he's singing about  :-*

Yeah, that seems to explain things: You guys are busier getting rid of yer ladies  ;D

Nicky.
So you've come of age
And so you want to meet God
Sure you can
He's right here next to me

NP  Gary Hughes & friends:  Excalibur  (on Once And Future King)

Formidable song, one of my alltime faves. Forceful lyrics by GH. Damian Wilson really shines here, as do Steve McKenna on bass and Chris Francis on guitar  *horns*

It's not a question of getting there, the album's been out ages and I had it on release.  See my previous comments ;D
