You never hear Greenpeace complaining about marmots getting caught in tuna fishermen's nets.

Silly boy.  That's because they're much smaller than tuna, and slip through the holes in the net.  I'm not sure how you'd catch them, given this.  Perhaps Japanese Marmot factory ships fire explosive-tipped harpoons at them, instantly producing the fine brown paste so familiar to Marmite lovers? ;)

And yes, Terrible Ted is the American version of Ozzy.  Except Ted is actually more disturbing because you can tell what he's saying.    ;D

I've always fully understood Ozzy, but then I'm from Birmingham too! ;D

It's not his accent so much as the fact that he mumbles at nearly inaudible levels.  Odd, considering he's not that way at all in his music.  Of course, this is mostly based on what I've seen on silly TV shows.  I have a friend who tends to do that, and I can't understand him half the time either.  He's from Buffalo, which makes him a bit odd but only slightly accented (to American ears).  I haven't seen him on silly TV shows, but then, he's not one of the fathers of heavy metal.  He did introduce me to Genesis though, so he gets some credit even though he hasn't (to my knowledge) bitten the head off of a bat.

Mouthful of bat syndrome.  Bats are a well-known Birmingham delicacy, but take ages to chew ;)

Just ate half of a chocolate bunny. The other half was eaten by none other than my little brother.
Also had a cup of coffee (the Senseo kind, mind you).
And a boterkoek.

It's a miracle that I'm still not ugly and fat.
Quite the contrary in fact! 8)

Who got the half that makes the raisins?

I'd consider a chocolate marmot, but the tuna filling doesn't make for a good mix.   :-\

Now eating: The other half of last night's Italian* sub. (neither half had raisins)

* No Italians were harmed in the making of this sandwich.

Surrounded by water I could not drink...

PH

Man, am I thirsty... :(

Another (fourth) glass of water.
This way, it's gonna be a loooooong and sleepless night.

This became a healthy banana instead.
Thought I'd share that with you guys.

At the moment I'm not drinking or eating anything, but in a few minutes I'll say goodbye to all of you, and I'll head for the Jenever ('Holland Gin' for you English people, says the Wiki).

Varmint is definitely an underused word once you get more than a handful of miles from the Ozark Mountains.

I think it will soon have a new lease of life over here in connection with our beloved Members of Parliament.

I'm drinking my first cuppa of the day,  Bliss! :P
