Cola. Straight not stirred.

Cheese & brown sauce sandwiches with a nice cup of tea.  This is rapidly establishing itself as the rock'n'roll feast of choice after mowing the lawns here ;D

I'm cooking.

So ... nothing yet.

But we're about to.

I'm drinking a cola.

Just been to the Albert Heijn and had a cheese sample and a cup of Café au lait. ;D

Just had a couple of slices of Arctic Roll.  Heaven! :P

Sisi. Si.

You know, without Wikipedia, I would have no clue what you folks are consuming half the time.  It's almost enough to put a sea mammal off his kelp.

Maybe you should go out more often.  ;)

That's entirely possible, although unless I get on a plane, I'm unlikely to see any Arctic Roll or Sisi billboards.

Now drinking: iced tea (I'm pretty much always drinking iced tea when it's not freezing unless it's Guinness time).

Hmm, i thought Sisi was a typical American thingy. You do know Fanta, right?

Well Fanta is owned by Coca Cola, Sisi is, from what i know, owned by Pepsi.
Or something like that.

Oh by the way: You should get IN the plane.
Not ON the plane. [/lame-joke-off]

I'm not sure if it's sold in the U.S. anymore, but I have heard of Fanta and probably had it at some point in my youth.  Sisi, though, is actually described as a Dutch soft drink in Wikipedia.  To my knowledge, we don't have it and never have.

Then forget my previous explanation.  ;)

It's similar to Fanta though.

We've got it here.  The perfumed water that I drink is also Twinings.

In that case I've tried the exact same product that you drink. I've not felt entirely well since ;)

That's OK.  Most interesting people are not entirely well.

Toast (brown bread) and Marmite *horns*

I've been without Marmite for a month or so, as it seemed our local supermarket had stopped selling it.  Turns out they'd merely moved it (to a completely illogical place!) so all is now right in the world ;D

That word always makes me think of marmots, which were the topic of considerable discussion in a class I had in college.  Perhaps it's made with marmot?

mar·mot
Pronunciation:
    \ˈmär-mət\
Function:
    noun
Etymology:
    French marmotte
Date:
    1607

: any of a genus (Marmota) of stout-bodied short-legged chiefly herbivorous burrowing rodents of the squirrel family that have coarse fur, a short bushy tail, and very small ears and that hibernate during the winter — compare woodchuck

I like your thinking, but I don't reckon they'd have snuck that one past the veggies! ;D

BTW, as Marmite is completely veggie, I usually chew on a live cow or sheep afterwards, just to maintain my Nugent-like street cred ;)

Perhaps you're right, although as animals go, I think marrmots are fairly close to veggies.  You never hear Greenpeace complaining about marmots getting caught in tuna fishermen's nets.  And yes, Terrible Ted is the American version of Ozzy.  Except Ted is actually more disturbing because you can tell what he's saying.    ;D
