German metal group from 1982 (Essen). PA is their most recent album, from 2012.

My new friend Lars Jesper (we were brought together by another FB-friend René) recommended it to me

LJ and I share everything in rock - first time ever, great experience. I have gotten him into Outworld and Bal-Sagoth. The past few days he's listened non-stop to BS. He otoh got me into Sepultura, and deeper into Guns N' Roses

This is the album that got me into prog. Man, how I liked it (and still do) ! The voices, the riffing, the soli, the melodies. I must write about this album in the Top Albums thread when I find enough time ...

But indeed, I'm very excited! It's a bit late, but now it finally is going to be released!

Transatlantic - "Kaleidoscope"

Transatlantic have done it again! Although I think I like "The Whirlwind" a bit better. That one is my favourite Transatlantic album. But this album is really nice and I like it very very much!
Hey, is it too early for 2014 favourite lists?

Actually, I think A.C.T could push Transatlantic off the "2014 throne". Anticipation is really high.

Today I woke up with a melody from the title track in my head. This is a good sign. Of course I had to hear the melody again and decided to play the whole album.

The first two songs (the first forty minutes) are really nice, but then I tend to lose interest a bit. I was wondering what you would make of the third track.
I can sit it out, but can't say it's my favourite part...
