I'll have a listen and report back with my opinion. ;)

Give it time, man, requires quite a lot of adaption ;)

And when you'v gotit, then give Sparks another chance, bit the same mindset 8)

Yes, this is also what I do. I like to read about all kinds of things, and when I encounter something that I don't know much about, I look it up

8) Paxi. It's a good habit :)

NP  U2 - "The Joshua Tree"

Anyone into this group? Of course, they're pretty famous and mainstream. But I was wondering whether proggies listen to U2.

Yeah, particularly Joshua Tree, as Ms 007 likes it a lot. It's also become my favorite with U2  *horns*

I like their music, but they'r not pantheon with me :)

I feel a bit like Bupie: Up to Joshua Tree, their music was fresh and progressive; then they became big, and the following albums seemed rather irrelevant :-\

Here's a real pantheon group:

NP  Protest the Hero:  Volition  *horns*

Missed them at Copenhell, man, felt fucked. But now on Tuesday they'r playing at Vega in Cop, and you bet I'm gonna see'm >:(

Leave you guys with this great piece:

Lunatic Soul - "Impressions"

Riverside lite. I really liked the Night Sessions on Riverside's latest album and this is more of that. So I bought two Lunatic Soul albums (the second and the third).
I guess now I just need the first and the upcoming LS album.
Anyone into Lunatic Soul? And if so, which is your favourite?

Only know the first two albums and like the first (the 'black' album) more than the second one (the 'white' album). You have to be in the right mood for it, it's quite dark music ;).

jp: Muse - The 2nd Law
np: Gazpacho - Night (in high anticipation of the new album 'Demon', which will be released in March 8))

JP  Engine:  Superholic

A real side project, mainly for fans of the guys:  Ray Alder, Bernie Versailles, Joey Vera, Pete Parada. Nothing like Fates Warning or Redemption 8)

NP  Hedningarna:  Tuuli  (on repeat)  *horns*

www.youtube.com/watch?v=cARpIQvGVbA

Hedningarna is Swedish for "The Heathens".

Reminds me of Dead Can Dance and other Lisa Gerrard projects, and Robbie Robertson's soloalbums  8)

Moon Safari - "Himlabacken, Vol. I"

Fantastic album! Very catchy and happy music, yet still very proggy with the Dream Theater-ish instrumental interludes.

The Flower Kings - "Banks Of Eden"

I enjoyed it! The last track on the album is some sort of reprise of the (excellent!) first track, but it's a bit too much. For some reason I get bored and I'm not interested in the bonus disc anymore. But I'm getting better with The Flower Kings. Their latest ("Desolation Rose") is nice too!

Galahad - "Battle Scars"

This is actually the second time I play this. It was pretty high in a top ten on a prog website once. Dunno where.
It reminds me of IQ because of the vocals, which are quite good. And I'm also reminded by, indeed, Arena (a bit). Probably because of the dark mood. But Arena is much better. I dunno what it is, but this album makes me feel very uncomfortable. :-[ Not good.
But I have to listen to it a few times more.

Now playing:
Big Big Train - "Far Skies Deep Time"

I guess this is the best EP in my collection. Ermmm... at least when I don't count "Contagious" and "Contagium". ;D
The Wide Open Sea is veeeery nice. It's sad to know that people who don't have this EP miss out on the beauty of these songs. ::)

At the moment I'm predicting Rush to be my next object of a Now Playing post.
Let's see...
