Today I played:
Yes - "90125"
Yes - "Tales From Topographic Oceans"
Yes - "Relayer"

And now:
Storm Corrosion - "Storm Corrosion"

This is so much calmer after all of Yes' prog extravaganza.

PP Circus Maximus - Nine

NP Apple Pie - The Gates Of Never

Especially recommended to you, PH. Once you get past the first (good) prog metal track, you meet some fine symphonic parts very reminiscent of Neal Morse/SB.

Yeah, I heard the first album. Need to get my ears on this one yet.

The Room is a bit of a kindergarten - a chaaarming kindergarten, that is - but I actually do consider it an honor to be a member of the official Arena support group - this great rockgroup  *horns*

And we all are BIG Arena-fans, aint we, guys  ;)

And Thanx, Paxi, for your Review Series: Got me more into it  :)

Indeed!
Best track is, for I'm concerned The Czar.
Massive and sludgy.  *horns*

Another cool album, and what a way to end the evening;

Radiance ~ The Burning Sun

Not for the feint of hearts. ;)

Well, too bad, I sold back my copy a few months ago  :P Didn't like at all, to be honest.

But it's still pretty easy to find on the Web at a decent price :

Speaking of Touchstone, they are recording their new album and once again John Mitchell seems to be part of the process : https://www.facebook.com/touchstonemusicuk?ref=ts&fref=ts#!/photo.php?fbid=10151450448578511&set=pb.35212943510.-2207520000.1370275411.&type=3&theater

I didn't like it in 1987 and I have to say that I still don't ... :P

Well, no, not even. The mix of AOR and hard rock/metal is most often something that I like : UFO and Toto are amongst my favorite bands, I like Def Leppard a lot, I listen rather often to REO Speedwagon, etc. So this AORish Whitesnake should fit the bill but it just doesn't move me. Go figure ...

NP Melissa Etheridge - Never Enough

The cover of this one rocks more than its music which is, let's say, gently unremarkable.

As you might have noticed, I am in the middle of a shelf clearance session. Which makes me wondering if Peter would let us open a trade/give thread where we could give a list of CD/DVD that we are ready to trade with other Roomies. So I could send some Flower Kings albums to PH and a few Celine Dion to Nicky. What do you think about that, people ?
