PH

I was listening to some good old Kino stuff.
The demo album "Cutting Room Floor" has some excellent 'new' songs that would make a great start for a second Kino album.
Songs such as Throw It Away, Won't Fall Down and most of all Say You Will. But also that beautiful instrumental hidden track, which is hidden behind the Kevin Gilbert cover.
Now, I'm putting all these songs on my phone, so I can listen to it everywhere. And for easy listening purposes I've split the last track, so I won't have to wait two minutes for that nice instrumental.
Problem is, that last track doesn't have a name. Or, it has, but I can't remember...
I faintly remember having heard John Mitchell saying this track was called Manhattan. Can anyone confirm?

Krux 1

A bit of doom for a cold October day

Been a while since i have been around , is everyone OK ?

Bupie

Well, as far as I am concerned, I am OK. I wish that my hair would stop falling and greying but I have to live with it (and without).

@ PH, I never got Cutting Room Floor because I could not find it at a decent price but you really tempt me for trying again.

Alan Reed - First In A Field Of One

It arrived today, 3rd spin and enjoying it a lot. Really love his voice and music. Don't expect heavy stuff, but beautiful melodies and catchy choruses. Further info, notes from the man himself and the cast:

Any good ?
You have to be in the right mood for it. It's pretty 'dark', both lyrically and musically, but it's a great album.

NP  Marillion:  Anoraknophobia  *horns*

H-Marillion is good to play when I have Ms 007 around. They rock (arguably Anoraknophobia most, hey Tom), and never get very heavy or grating, which Ms likes. She also enjoys the mellow songs of Royal Hunt, but with songs like Intervention she freaks, which makes life difficult for the dj - me  ;)

Hope you enjoy it more than I did.
I expected a lot from this album, especially the intrumental part of Child in Time but it don't delivers.

In my opinion their worst cover-serie they did, whereas Dark Side of the Moon is their best.

I know what you mean, I was quite underwhelmed initially.  However, not having listened to it for six months or so, I quite enjoyed it this morning *horns*
