Close, very close.  ;D

The Tempest by Rob Halford?

NP: Devin Townsend Project - Addicted
"What is that sound?  It's confusing, and boy is it loud!"

Bupie

I have really no idea  ;D

JF Grateful Dead - Skeletons From The Closet
NP Jefferson Airplane - Journey : The Best Of

Best-of from two of the major American psychedelic rock bands of the 60s/70s.

Even if I am prone to go back in time and listen to some very old stuff, it seems that the mid-seventies are my limit. It's interesting stuff, no question, and both bands were really huge at the dawn of the seventies but it just doesn't move me  :P

Peter

was watching the "Clash of the Titans" trailer, was interested in the riffs that were played as background music, found this:

It's rare that I listen to stuff from the 70's. Rock music has simply progressed sooo much since then.

However, the 70's albums of Floyd, Genesis, and Yes (particularly Going) still grip me. More rarely Zep and Queen.

Apropos:

NP  Priest:  Sad Wings Of Destiny

Just gotit .....

Thanks for that, Teunis.

I still frequently play Animations (the album) and needless to say that i think it's very good prog indeed.
They have a singer now so i'm curious about the album.
Very curious.

Actually the real McPercy is a Rob too  ;)

NP  Priest: Metalogy

The first tracks on this quadruple cd box remind me of ... well, the way I perceived Priest before I heard Nostradamus, maybe a bit better, since I now have made'm pantheon and I'm on the outlook for what makes'm special. But we have to Ram It Down with Heavy Metal and Blood Red Skies before I become a real sucker  *horns*
