NP: Gazpacho - Night followed by  Gazpacho - Tick Tock for I think the fourth time today each.

It took a couple more plays, but now I find Night amazing also.  Are any of their earlier albums worth getting?  From what I've read, it sounds like Night is generally considered much better than anything they did before it.
The album before Night, called 'Bravo' is nice, but IMO it does not reach the level of 'Night' and 'Tick Tock'. The albums before 'Bravo' aren't that interesting.

NP: Coldplay - Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends

I've come to like this album quite a bit.  Must sleep soon though.

Thanks, I'll put that on my list.  Night and Tick Tock are just astonishing, so there's plenty of room to fit in "good" beneath them.

Many of my acquaintances  report a similar response, although I must admit I (belatedly) quite like Coldplay.  I've not heard the latest one yet, but give me time...

Mozart - Serenade in G 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik'

I'm not quite as up to speed on things Classical as I am on things Rock, but I assume either John Mitchell or Clive Nolan feature on there somewhere.  One wouldn't normally, of course, buy a CD where this wasn't the case ;)

That corresponds to Enya within rock music  ;)

A bit different:

NP  Corrosion Of Conformity:  Wiseblood

with the notorious Pepper Keenan on both guitar and vocals.

One of the major tracks leading to Down.

Great stuff too  *horns*

NP: Gazpacho - Bravo

Maybe not as good as Night or Tick Tock, but still highly entertaining. Sea Of Tranquility is such a beautiful song! 8)

If you like his voice a lot, you should try out the early Landmarq albums. Very good! *horns*

Thanks, Paxi  :)

I already had Turbulence on my SL.

'Cosmas' is my favorite Damian Wilson solo album, but you can't compare it with the Threshold stuff  ;D . Knowing you prefer heavier music, I bet you fall asleep  ;). But his voice is great, as always, and the melodies are very catchy  8).

And Thanks, Teunis  :)

I'v now added Cosmas to my SL on your recom.

Yeah, I read on Amazon (Murat Batmaz amongst others) that Damian is a lot lighter on his soloalbums.

I enjoy quite a lot of light stuff too, like Jeff Buckley, Caamora, and Simon And Garfunkel.

Curious to hear Damian on his own  8)

I also added the following albums to my SL:

Family:  Fearless     http://www.amazon.com/Fearless-Family/dp/B0000C436Y/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1241537915&sr=1-4

Corrosion Of Conformity:  Deliverance     http://www.amazon.com/Deliverance-Corrosion-Conformity/dp/B000002AOJ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1241538029&sr=1-1

Shadows Fall:  War Within     http://www.amazon.com/War-Within-Shadows-Fall/dp/B0002VAKK2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1241538109&sr=1-1

The last two are pretty heavy, recommended to the heavy roomies  ;)

I already had Turbulence on my SL.

Great! But that one doesn't have Damian Wilson on it.
Solitary Witness (1992), Infinity Parade (1993) and The Vision Pit (1995) do have his vocals.
After that, Tracy Hitchings took over (and that's not bad, just different!!).

Cause of Injury: Lack of Adhesive Ducks.

The Butterfly Man

NP: Frost* - Experiments In Mass Appeal

In the months leading up to the release of this album it was so hyped that my expectations went through the roof. Therefore I couldn't help but to feel a little bit disappointed after finally hearing it. But now after a few months it proves to be a steady release, very different to Milliontown but very good nonetheless!

I haven't heard that one, in fact.  Is it Weezer-like?  Apparently I need both more Pixies and more solo Frank.   :o
