You can buy the CD from the verglas store. It is a bit pricey though.

Thanks, it appears you can, but you're right -- that is rather pricey.  I wonder why.

Mercenary:  11 Dreams

Fine album  *horns*

I'm mainly into Danish metal groups atm. Gotta see what's around here. Havnt found any that are up to Opeth, Scar Symmetry, and Circus Maximus levels yet, but I am increasingly impressed .....

Mercenary are still my fave Danish band  8) ;)

Mnemic are rapidly rising. Hard to get into, but lots to be found ...

Wuthering Heights, The Arcane Order, Artillery, and Section A are excellent too.

I, on the other hand, knew it existed but had been repressing the memory for years.  Now I'll have to start repressing it all over again!   ;D

Only one answer fits this obvious provocation :

NP - Pat Benatar - Crimes Of Passion  ;)

Did they make a cover of the eponym song too ?  ;D

I've been known to use that one myself on occasion.

I shall try and stick with the more original ones, then!

Nothing playing at the moment as I'm at my parents.  A known prog-free zone :o

At this point, I think I'll just back away quietly lest an international incident ensue.

NP: Kamelot - Ghost Opera

I just got home, disturbingly sober.  When I woke up today, I checked the weather news to see if I was going to need a coat, and it turned out to be 90 degrees F.  If we're going to be deprived of spring again, I'm going lodge a complaint.

I know. There are 3 songs on the tour cd's and the 45 seconds soundbytes on their website are just great. That makes the wait so hard. Judge for yourself (except Tom of course  ;D): http://www.iq-hq.co.uk/  ;).

Yes, indeed. I just heard a song on an Internet-radio and although i can't remember how it was called, i quite liked it.
Am curious too.

No, I just happened to be at a place called 'The Boerderij' yesterday. They sold the album there. As part of the limited edition the band came out and actually played a gig! ;)

Nay  ;D

Supersong by Katie btw. Highly original  *horns*

In fact I don't really know why the Danish group took the name  ???

They're excellent, but very youthful, so more for Pixi-Paxies than for mature men (like me)  ;D

Well, maybe because of the famous novel ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wuthering_Heights ; Plus, it sounds great as a band's name IMHO

QuoteGotta listen to some more Rush .....

Hold Your Fire is my favorite because it's highly melodic but again I am some kind of black sheep of the family there  :P

Power Windows and Roll The Bones are good picks too. OTHH, the early period of the band is too harsh/raw for my taste.

NP Manowar - Kings Of Metal

I sold this one today and I wanted to listen to it one last time before shipping it to the buyer. I have to admit that despite being uneven and sometimes ridiculous it contains three great metal songs : Kings Of Metal, Hail and Kill and Kingdom Come. Way better than Fighting The World that was pretty bad and even nauseating on occasion (Violence and Bloodshed's lyrics).

Well, obviously so  ;)

What I meant was that I dont know whether there is any special inspiration from the novel in the music and/or lyrics of the group  ???
