Just: Wolfsbane - Wolfsbane.
Now: Cinderella - Still Climbing.

Bit of a ripping frenzy here at the moment, making inroads into the 'not played for years' pile.  Cinderella is a particularly strong album, not a million miles away from Ratt at their best *horns*

Lynyrd Skynyrd - One More From the Road.

While I've got the 25th Anniversary Edition, I'm actually listening to the 'regular' version. 33 years of conditioning means I expect to hear 14 tracks in a certain order... *horns*

Today I played Testimony by Neal Morse.
Of course thanks to the Neal Morse Lifeline thread.

I played both discs and enjoyed it tremendously.
Indeed, the first disc is probably the better one. But disc two has songs like: "Sing It High", "I Am Willing", "The Storm Before The Calm" and "Oh Lord My God", which I really like. 8)

track: Lost In Paradise

Oh, our love doesn't end here, it lives forever on the wings of time'

Toto - Wings of time (Kingdom of Desire)

Played last night: All of my Arena albums (which I'm shamed to admit don't yet include the first two, but they're difficult to find at anything remotely close to normal prices around here -- I may have to resort to a transatlantic order)

NP: Blues Traveler - Four

Note to self: get more Blues Traveler CDs.  The traditional formula of: [fat mat with harmonica = good] holds true to form here.   *horns*

My dad was listening to an Irish (actually English) folk band again.
It sounded pretty impressive.
(But I have to admit that I'm pretty quickly impressed by Traditional Irish Folk music.)

The band's name is Flook and it's got some awesome flute powers! ;D

Stray Cats - Various tracks on LastFM

Stray Cats weren't my normal cup of tea when they first appeared, but a mate of mine got hooked - despite being a card-carrying Yes fan.  As he kept playing 'Runaway Boys' on the juke-box in the Mercat Cross (a Birmingham Pub) I ended up getting hooked too.  The first album was awesome, with a wonderfully live production from Dave Edmunds.

I was less than impressed when I went to see them live, however, as they made extensive use of backing tapes - cheating!  Also most of the audience were little kids (and I do mean little) dressed as teddy boys.  A weird and unsatisfying night out.

I've got a couple of albums on vinyl which I've not heard for many years, so LastFM is really coming up trumps here.  Brian Setzer is an excellent guitarist *horns*

I really enjoy this one. :)

By the way, Steven Wilson has the ashes but Roine Stolt keeps talking about dust...
