I'm curious with Frost* now  ???

NP: Back to the magic of childhood - Pagan's mind
Very soft opener and followed by usual heavy riff and nice tempo's change. And certainly the keys sound is quite good

Steve Jones

Threshold - Critical Energy. (The CDs, not the DVD!)

Marillion - Happiness on the Road, Live at The Forum, London, 19 November 2008 *horns* *horns* *horns*

This is a limited edition (1,000 copies) double CD that was recorded on the night for fans to buy on the way out of the gig.  The only drawback is the (very nice) packaging doesn't have a track list as, obviously, this part was manufactured in advance - I hate typing track details in when ripping to digital!

Although the physical item is sold out, digital downloads can still be had from http://www.marillion.com/shop/music/hotr.htm

Some people reccomended this album to me because it's one of the proggiest albums of mr. Townsend.
I don't agree.  :-\

In the mellow songs he sings rather well i'd say and those songs are the best but when he speed things up...it's like...  :-\

NP  Dillinger:  Miss Machine

Strange, after Ire Works, MM seems more accessible to me  ::) *horns*

Wikipedia writes about MM: "The critical reception for Miss Machine was relatively favorable, with Allmusic going so far as to say, 'There's nothing more to say — the next true image of rock & roll has crawled out of the swamps of Jersey.' Despite being positive in their review, Pitchfork noticed 'Though Miss Machine displays DEP in top musical form, the band seems to have lost its confidence and direction.' Rolling Stone, however, was negative, noticing 'unless you're trying to drive a third world dictator out of his barricaded palace, you'll be hard pressed to listen to Miss Machine in its entirety.'"

Rolling Stone has long been mainstream. But there's some truth to what they write; I too am bewildered by much of the album. But I think that Allmusic is right: DEP are a groundbreaking band, for sure !

Hey, guys, honestly, are you becoming a bit "loungy" ?

Next time you pull down your pants, just check ..... :P
