Aah! What do you think of it??

Actually it was the first time that I played the album, too early to have a fair opinion. Not bad at all, really nice music.

Today I've been playing my latest purchases:
Lunatic Soul - Lunatic Soul
The Reasoning - Dark Angel

Played them once, not impressed yet, have to hear them more often.
'I will surrender my heart to the sky
Oh, our love doesn't end here, it lives forever on the wings of time'

Toto - Wings of time (Kingdom of Desire)

Very nice music! Oh boy, there's so much in there! *horns*
Anyone into Kaipa? I have all there progrock albums.

:o It's started... I can no longer hide... :-[

I did enjoy it though.

I am incredibly envious as music is so important to me but unfortunately my expertise is listening to it.

I went to a mates 50th last weekend who has also released cd's and listened to his band live which was fantastic.

Carry on the good work.

Winterstrain - Shifting Sands.

Playing it for the third time now - getting into it! 8)

Making music... albums... It's originally done because of some freak compulsion. You people make it worthwhile.

Great Band.

Do you have their debut Cd? I am having difficulty finding it. Is it as good as the rest?

The debut is indeed good but not essential i'd say (though some fan from the north might kill me for that remark  :-[;)

The only two real good songs on it are the set off (The Dance Of Fools) and the epic The Queen Of The City Of Ice which is actually a rather long balled. Gives me the chills on my spine every time i hear it.  *horns*
I bought the album after the release. Still play it from time to time.

One big let down though is the fact that they had to use a digital drummer.  ::)

NP> Neal Morse - So Many Roads

Indeed.  My fave AC/DC studio release, in fact.  They say everyone can remember where they were when Kennedy Bon Scott died.  I was in Bogart's (a rock club in Birmingham) and the DJ announced it.  Everything just went quiet... :'(

;D

Really, the opening track and "The queen of the city of ice" (the last track), are wonderful, but still my two least favourite tracks off the album, believe it or not. Questions at Hand is great, too, but  Darktown, Mystified, The Final Hour, and Say Goodbye to the Morning are magic incarnate. I can't imagine life without them. If I do, I get the shudders...

;)

PH

Wait a minute...

Everybody says they think that album is the least because of the drumcomputer, and precisely a drummer says he likes the album?

Is this correct?

Maybe I should spell it out for you guys:

Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV | Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness

Just read about the Amory Wars. Hm  :-\

Got real gripped by Welcome Home ... but sadly not by much else.

They remind me of 3 (and Josh Eppard has played in both), some of the same drollness, but C&C don't have anything near the melody that 3 have lots of.

Whadaya guys think ?  :)
