Nevermore - The Year Of The Voyager.

Just watched most of the first DVD and it's awesome.  Pure, unadulterated metal but exceptionally well executed.  Good sound and video quality, too.  I've bought too many DVDs lately where the focus hunts like there's a chimp behind the camera.  This one is a most pleasant change. *horns*

Wow, Teunis, that sure was a surprise: You're venturing into (dangerous) metal territory  :o

If you survive, tell us what you think of it  ;D :)

Yeah, Bups, I do consider that Yngwie is better than his reputation. There are some gems here and there in his music.

Yeah, isnt it, Bups ?  These guys are among the best.

Unfortunately they have big problems keeping their act together, quite literally, so who knows (probably only God does) if and in that case when their next album will be released  :-\

NP  Slipknot:  Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)

Got more into it.

It's in the Linkin Park / Korn vein, so not quite down my alley, but very good within its limits  *horns*

From my unadulterated years  :)

The Butterfly Man

NP: Linkin Park - Papercut

Ah, nostalgia! :) I remember being massively into them when I was 16, 17 years old. It still sounds good to these ears, although I'm no fanboy anymore. Let's say I moved on since then... ;)

Here's hoping I'm still into prog in 5 years time... ;D

Nicky.
;D When I'm in the right mood, I like heavier stuff. For example after a day of hard work. It's no use headbanging anymore, as you can see on my avatar, but still ..  Kamelot rocks, I own their album 'Epica' too. Do you know 'Star One'? Also metal, but  *horns* 8).

Today I've been playing:
Steve Thorne - Emotional Creatures Part One
Kayak - The Best of Kayak
Believe - Yesterday Is A Friend

np: Jadis - Understand

Indeed, today I had a day-off  :)
