Was there an 'l' too much there, Stevie, or what do you mean  ???

Perhaps we've found the one that Dido lost?  ;)

Sounds like somethin for Appy  ;D

You guys sure got some exotic tastes  ::)

NP  Metallica:  St. Anger  *horns*

I really love this album. I know that some of you guys will say "He's screwy". It's the same experience as I have when listening to Alice In Chains:  raw, earthy, honest music. Anyone else has this vein ?

I just played: Clepsydra - Alone. Simply great!

NP: The Pineapple Thief - Shoot First. This track is a mailing list exclusive. It's an acoustic version of a song that's gonna be on the new album 'Tightly Unwound' which will be released on May 19. After hearing this song I'm quite curious to hear the new album.

NP  Korn:  Untitled  (their latest)  *horns*

Guess I'm pretty much alone in this here in the Room - waaaaah  :'(  ..... but I'd say that for the patient listener an incredible sonic richness opens up along this vista.

Korn are really one of a kind. Lots of groups have tried to emulate them, but none have come close to their wide-ranging imagination.

Don't underestimate these guys. They may have started out as juvenile rebels, but now they've become mature, serious, seeking musicians, with a very stable base of fans who now also are mainly parents with steady jobs.

Both to be honest...Well technically the radio is playin but that's basically just repeating the same crappy songs over and over. So I'm not counting that as 'now playing'. If I would, you´d get something like this:

NP: Alain Clark - Father And Friend

or

NP: Amy Winehouse - Valerie

And you see, that's kinda bad for my reputation here in the room... ;D

Yknow, I prefer Floyd  ;D ;D

So whaddaya do in the office the whole day, Tom, apart from listening to Whinyhouse ?   Do you also sell wheel locks ?  Everybody around here seems to do that  :D

Apropos, it's Bluey's birthday on Friday. A propose that we throw a surprise party for her. We only need to answer three questions:

1)  Where does she live (I know it's Germany, so that gets us halfway) ?
2)  Who buys the JD&C (we have to make sure that it's the right type of sugar in the C) ?
3)  Who picks us up (someone who can stay sober for the ride) ?

So, seeya on Friday !!!

No I'm afraid I don't sell wheel locks. I'm finally finished with school, so that's cool. But now I work at the office, making computerized (3D) designs of buildings, houses etc. This technique is called AutoCad, maybe that rings any bells. But I'm not that inspired today, 'cause I'm sitting here in a cold (airconditioned) room, while the sun is shining outside. The thing is: I just want to go outside but that's not gonna happen in the next 3 hours. :-\ I can only look through the window and see people enjoying the sun. Oh well...

Not a band I've checked out, as yet. [A.C.T]

Well, get on it with it then! :D

They are REALLY good!
Each album is the best. But the two latest are even better.
I think "Last Epic" is a little bit better than "Silence", but still "Silence" is a good choice indeed! :)

NP: Rick Altizer - Turn My Eyes Away (a 2 minute demo from CDBaby.com)

I'm really planning on buying this, the music is very simple and the lyrics are repetitive, but somehow I'm really enjoying the samples.
Perhaps because of the lyrics being directly taken from the Bible.

Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Preserve my life according to Your Word. Preserve my life according to Your Word. Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Preserve my life according to Your Word. Preserve my life according to Your Word.
Lord, fullfill Your promise, Lord, to Your servant, so that You may be feared. Psalm 119: 37, 38.

NP: Muse Black Holes and Revelations.  More Pet Shop Boys than Prog, if I might venture, but still pleasant enough.

Probably not quite as good as "Seven" but this CD is a real grower, reveals something new everytime I listen to it.
