Well, Roine said on the Flower Kings site that it would be a trip back into the 70's. I fully agree with that. I doubt that there is any, well known, prog band arround that plays like that.
I like the album. But having said that i also must admit that i got the 'i heard this before'-feeling. Not a bad thing because it's a very decent album but not their best. Personally i like Paradox Hotel better.

But that doesn't mean a thing since i heard PH (no, not you  ) a trillion times and TSONE a couple of times.

This one keeps getting better and better.

I agree, John, this is a masterpiece, a repeat-album.

I like the last song best, Enter Rain, a real dark song that gets under my skin. What do you make of it, John?

Me? I like it all! I can see how you would like Enter Rain, personally I ADORE the first five tracks, individually they are great songs and together they flow superbly into each other (even when that flow is silence). There are odd CD's where the silence is almost as important as the Non Silent parts. This is one.

I was playing some old skool prog this evening:

I was going to like it, but then this particulary lyric put me off:

This shows how important lyrics are for my liking of music...

Very beautiful    Really surprised me, as I'd never heard of these guys before. This song reminds me somewhat of a fave from my youth, 10cc's I'm Not In Love. Yeah, guys, I can be very sentimental too
