EDIT: I'm sorry, while the music is ok, the vocals need to grow on me, that's for certain. The singer sounds like a cross between a higher pitched Geoff Tate and a certain singer from a certain dutch band that should not be named.

EDIT: The bad thing about it really is that the music is actually really good. So I WANT to like the voice. Maybe that'll come later on!

I confess, I felt exactly the same at the beginning. But i grew on me, and I think it didn' take more than 2 or 3 spins.

I was playing Dream Theater - Awake downstairs on the stereo, but as soon as I put the disc in, everybody starts moaning (without even hearing a single note!) that I have to listen to it in my own room. Man, I hate that.

EDIT: My dad goes to the jazzparty in town. My mom also goes. (But my mom goes with a friend of hers and my dad goes with his collegue). So I have all the time of the world to try out my new (and old) CDs on the stereo downstairs!!! Hehehehehehe.
So I'm gonna listen to:
- Dream Theater - Awake
- OSI - Office Of Strategic Influence
- Nolan & Wakeman - The Hound Of The Baskervilles (I'm really into the mood for this one!)
- Frank Klepacki - Virtual Control

But I'm afraid I don't get to listen to that many albums, they're back before I can say "Hottentottententententoonstelling" (and I CAN say that! It needs good practise though.)

Besides that, my little brother (who doesn't like prog (but who does anyway?)) has the great idea to watch the movie "The Hulk". So there I go...

By the way, for anyone who hasn't already seen "The Hulk", DON'T WATCH IT!! It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Bad story, bad acting, VERY childish. It's so bad...
