Hey, that's not a nice thing to say.  This has nothing to do with any  'dogmatic or 'unwritten' or whatever 'law' whatsoever, and to only put the blame on Peter is rude! Many on this forum, including me, has, to put it mildly, often let you know that we/they don't like these comments/'IMO's' of yours, 'cos there was never any room for debate or discussion. To be to the point: you were warned!

Certainly metal - Callenish Circle - think along the lines of Dark Tranquillity (or perhaps you haven't heard of them either?) - I guess it's best described as melodic(?) death metal.

Just finished playing  - Swallow The Sun - The Morning Never Came (death metal/doom with pure guttural vocals) and now playing Amorphis - Eclipse (mix of clean/guttural vocals, melodic death metal/slightly gothic/prog) - my album of the year so far!!
