JF Dream Theater - Dream Theater Frankly, after about a dozen of complete listens, I find it great 

Of course, no surprise here 

I have a period where I'm engrossed in other stuff - Extreme, Gun N' Roses, Van Halen, just inducted GNR into my pantheon   - but I know there'l come a time when I'l just have to hear the new DT-album 

See, if you guys would do the same with Outworld I, you'd experience the same enthusiasm ... but we all have our religions

Sh**, Bupie, you shouldnt have reminded me about that. Man, that was six years ago, had forgotton all about having written that 

Well, we have a previous Danish prime minister, Jens Otto Krag, who said: You have a standpoint until you replace it with another. (He changed from being anti-EU to being pro.) And, I'm 58 y/o, so I'm entitled to some senile demens 

Ms 007 and her oldest son had been going at me with GNR. Well, good stuff, but didnt seem pantheon. Then I fell over the November Rain video last week. That hit me hard, for personal reasons: My Mum is born in November, and is now fading fast (this November), and she really is a November Child. "Nothing lasts forever." All of a sudden Axl was singing directly to my heart 

And with passion, man, those guys are deep into music - deeeeeeep 

And the video is really gripping, watched it now I don't know how many times (I don't mind the babes at all)

Then followed their super cover of Sympathy For The Devil (the last song they made before Slash, Duff and Matt left, what passion!), and then Civil War, Knock On Heaven's Door ... sorry about my volte-face, Bupie, but yes: These guys have (had) it !

Have to admit they're not part of my collection, but I know 'Crises' and 'Tubular Bells', as they were owned by my big brother. So I've heard them a lot and I do really like them.

My fave is QE2, herewith warmly recommended. Second fave is Exposed (live)

I know that many Roomies really praise this album. Iggy, didn't you write that it is one of your all-time favorites if not THE one ? Sorry but after almost a dozen listens during the past two years, I have to admit that it does not move me  It's pleasant, it's clever, I can see the point behind the story but unfortunately I am not moved not thrilled. That's it, too bad for me ...
