I see you logged in again, so good morning Manatee. :D

There will be white clouds beyond the hills...

Manatee

G'morning, Tom.  I'm considering trying to be productive today, and I'm still too groggy to think of reasons to avoid it.  I figured the Room could help with that.   ;)

Top of the mornin' to you :)

G'morn, European morning peoples.

Well hello there.

Good day people.

Morning all.  Even the night watch ;)

Morning from the night watch.  Interesting, yet irrelevant point: I actually saw Rembrandt's painting, "Nightwatch" in a museum in Amsterdam about 100 years ago.  I shocked myself by being productive tonight, so I'm now rewarding myself with the black nectar.   *horns*

I attempted to find it on my usual web go-to's, but I couldn't find "Cocq."  Pray elaborate.

Philistine ;)

From Steve's link:

"The painting may be more properly titled The Company of Frans Banning Cocq and Willem van Ruytenburch."

My comment: Damn, dude.  That's an obscure reference even by my standards.

Good morning ladies.

I haven't actually seen Steve in person, so theoretically, he could be Keira Knightly, but I can see me right now, and if I'm your idea of a lady, you might want to up the prescription on your glasses.

Reminds me of the Ayreon song.

Much as I might like to pretend I'm clued-up on these things, I'd merely Googled the painting you mentioned.  Purely out of interest.  Especially as I wondered if there was a connection with King Crimson's Night Watch. 8)

I do these things in the morning, sometimes, when I'm feeling fresh ;)

In the U.S., "feeling fresh" is usually associated with advertisements for feminine cleansing products.   :o

Do you mean he's a twin, as in, I'm his alter-ego, created to allow him to play the title games more frequently, or do mean he's really a twin, which would probably be enough to keep several music companies solvent from the two of them alone?

Well, no, but you'll probably be happier if I don't go into detail.

Good afternoon Maddie.
How's your day so far?

Pretty f*ck*d up, actually, due to a certain tree that has been chopped down but now i can't get the roots and the 'trunk' out of the ground. I diged a hole about the size of myself and still i find roots underneath the tree.  >:( >:( >:(

Hmm... and what's wrong with a nice little trunk in the garden? Hmm?
