Open Your Eyes - Asia

Iggy beat me to it cause I got chatty.   ;D

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor

No redeeming qualities to speak of.

If Nicky turns up and sees this, I'll probably get a lecture, but I actually enjoy this song (the Asia one).   :-[

Eyes Wide Open - Sieges Even (Not the same song)

Sieges Even is on my to be investigated list.  I've noticed a lot of Roomies play them, but I've never heard them at all.
"What is that sound?  It's confusing, and boy is it loud!"

Right.  Stop everything you're doing NOW and purchase 'The Art of Navigating by the Stars' and 'Paramount' immediately.  This might just change your life! 8)

You've demonstrated impressive enough taste that I might just do that.  However, I need something from you.  You must either admit to owning some Devin Townsend (and either at least feigning fondness for him or appeasing me by sending me Kate Bush on the next plane out of Heathrow) or rushing out and getting either Ocean Machine or Terria (or both if you want to save yourself the second trip).

Egads, a Nicky sighting.  I've been good, I promise.  I actually own no Asia albums at all, even on vinyl, and I've listed to Kamelot several times lately!  (grovels)

DT has been on my must-try list for a good while now, but I've just never gotten around to it.  I did check out some tunes online, but they were short samples that didn't really do anything to sell the product.  But one day soon... 8)

Old Red Eyes Is Back - The Beautiful South

Red Rain - Peter Gabriel

The song, which, if his entire 5th solo album had been as good as it, I'd have continued to buy his iffy stuff for several albums to come.

I do recommend him, obviously, but if you can't find the time, I'm still willing to accept Kate.   8)

I've tried to ship her over before, but each time I seem to get carried away licking the stamp ;)

Understandable.  She's really not that gorgeous, but there's just something about her...  Plus you probably need exponents to compare her IQ to Britney's, and I like em smart.   ;)

Room for One More, Honey - Game Theory

Game Theory is not a band I expect people to be wowed by.  Basically very quirky college rock that I took a liking to, but just out of curiosity, has anyone heard them besides me?

Sorry, no.

From you, that's actually a bit comforting.  It's nice to have *something* that you don't have the full catalog of.   ;)

And Devin makes two.  Are you going for your hat-trick this morning? ;D

Sorry Somehow - Hüsker Dü

Not a perfect match, but otherwise I'm stumped, so I throw myself on the mercy of the panel of judges.

Perhaps. Have you any Hum?  I may still be able to dig something up if you do, probably by finding something obscenely American.   ;D

Triple bonus points if you know what the Detroit Red Wings fans do to celebrate a hat trick.

I have no idea, but I wouldn't be at all suprised if it involves Guinness and young Korean girls ;)

In practice, that would probably be more fun, but no.  In fact, they throw octopus onto the ice.  I kid you not.  I have a friend from Detroit who proudly proclaims he has two octopus tosses to his credit.
