Funkster, it would interest me to get an individual characterisation of the Candlemass albums.

I have only King and I hope to get some more soon  :)

Anathema - A fine day to exit.

I have some strange notion that you like Anathema, Iggy  ;)

They actually fit well into your LP  :)

Nicky.

Nicky , if you look at http://www.candlemass.se/ , thee is a discography section where Leif Edling talks about the various albums , well the first few anyway.

I would highly recommend Epicus Doomicus Metalicus and also Nightfall. Their first 2 albums and both are wonderful - great vocals , long heavy songs and more riffs than you can shake a stick at  ;)

Ancient deams is good but not as good as the first 2 and Tales of creation is a real grower with some more awesome riffs.

If you would like me to do you a compilation cd or 2 from these 4 albums then message me and i will sort that out for you.

It's from 1994, so there's probably a lot of growl and doom.

What's it like, Iggy? And why did you get it ?

A few Caravan Cd's after loads of 'new music' I decided to go back to the 70's. It was inspired by the BBC's Prog rock programme.

I've been inspired by Mr Jones with his 330 cd's last year.  ;D

If you're in 70s mode, how about Druid's 'Fluid Druid' and 'Toward the Sun' double CD release?  I'd not heard this in a while as I only got around to ripping it yesterday, but it's a good 'un.  Listening nowadays it sounds like a cross between Yes and Beardfish.  There's some very Chris Squire bass on there, plus some distinctively Steve Howe guitar.  Sometimes the vocals are very Jon Anderson, too, but other times not...

Well maybe.

I have purchased about 25 cd's in January and I cited someone that had bought 330 cd's last year  ;D

I don't think i can keep up with the pace though.  :P

I've ordered the new U2 album No Line On The Horizon.
It comes with a magazine and a link to download a movie.
Could've order the Ultimate Edition, with book, mag, CD, DVD and whatever that comes with it but that would mean: € 55,00.

I'm a fan. Not stupid.  ;)

Well, I've only played it once and it hasn't grabbed me as yet.  But then I didn't care much for Milliontown first time around, either!

Just ordered Fates Warning's Perfect Symetry and Parallels on Amazon (France).

Nicky's office is open (from ten to ten) for possible complaints but I hope no petition will be necessary  :)

I got it, Bups  ;D

If I can give you some good advice, I'd recommend that you change Perfect Symmetry to A Pleasant Shade Of Gray and/or Inside Out, as they're better imo  ;)
