First listen  *horns*

I'm actually listening to a YouTube with the full album:

seemingly with their full permission. Great !

Guess they'r thinking that responsible fans will buy the cd and go to their concerts - which I definitely plan to do: buy the cd soon, and go to the concert August 24 in Copenhagen.

Also, they'r very humanitarian and generous, so even if some fans don't pay up, it's OK  :)

Hmm, perhaps the most varied.  I think it's the best of the four.  Pretty much everything Devin does is weird.   ;D

Played:

The Ocean (Collective):  Heliocentric

Interesting biblical and religious lyrics, but doesnt do much for me  :-\

Slayer:  Reign in Blood

Lotta energy, and moderately interesting lyrics, but does even less for me. I actually took the cd out after some six tracks. I'd like to hear some more of their newer stuff, but I can't have albums with titles like God Hates Us All and Christ Illusion in my collection  :-\

Now I'm in a Rush to get home  *horns*

Thanks for the link Nicky. I have to admit I never really listened to their music. Heard a few songs and concluded that it wasn't my type of music, but without giving it a fair chance.

Now listening to the album.

Not bad at all. Heard a few stand out tracks and some 'complicated' tracks as well ;). Have to give it more spins.

np: Silhouette - Across The Rubicon

I can actually follow you there, Funky. When I play Counterparts and earlier albums, they don't at all grip me the way Snakes & Arrows and Clockwork Angels do. Somehow Rush have really gotten their act together in a great way lately  *horns*

I'm now so excited about these two albums that I'v decided to backlog. The next studio album backward is Feedback, which is according to reviews a wonderful cover EP. So I have to get that one asap.

I'd also like to have a live album now, so I think the right one to get is their latest official live album:  Time Machine 2011 - Live in Cleveland

Indeed. Just gave it another spin. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together. I see a grower here. Some 'screamy' parts are my least favourite moments but okay. Fine album!

I need a new battery on my wireless keyboard methinks.

Other than that, are wireless keyboards a good thing? How often do you need to recharge the batteries?
I mean, I've been using the same keyboard and mouse for years, both wired. I'm thinking of getting a wireless keyboard and mouse... Would you recommend it? Or should I stick with the corded stuff?

Keyboard batteries last for months if not years (depending on use of course). Mice seem to be different. My old HP mouse went through 2 batteries every 3 weeks or so because I kept forgetting to turn it off. I bought a new mouse 'Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse' in December and it is still using the same battery as it turns itself off when I am not using it.

Having wireless allows for a neater desk but as far as I am concerned that is about it.

NP  Explorers Club:  Age of Impact

This album should be far more acclaimed than it is. It takes some time, more than e.g. a Rush album, but then  *horns*

I haven't heard that one. My brother was a huge Vangelis fan in the 70's but took his collection with him when he moved to Austalia. I am slowly buying them when they are cheap.   :P

So far I have Best of, China, Heaven and Hell and Albedo 0.39.
