Frank Klepacki - C&C: Red Alert
2. Face The Enemy 1

This song is very cool. *horns* Has some very good drumming by Mr. Klepaco.

Next song is "Face The Enemy 2".

I've made a mix and now these two songs are a ten minute epic. Really cool! 8) Works very well.

Hehe, i'm not that hard to find.  :D

I think I found you, but I'm not totally sure, 'cause obviously I don't know what you look like! :P

Anyway, I'm still playing PT's In Absentia. What an album! I must admit that I forgot how good it is. The only song that I would listen to once in a while was Blackest Eyes, but now that I'm playing the full album again I realise much I actually dig it. *horns*

BTW, I just realised that I will see Dream Theater, Opeth and Porcupine Tree in the same week in October!!! :o 8)

Do you think Steven Wilson will be part of the Opeth show?   And how long does it take to become a Dutch citizen?  I've even been to a soccer/non-Celine-football match in the past year.  I rooted for the team my 10-year-old nephew was on.   ;D

Ah great. Now I'm sure that when I get home from these gigs I won't see a message in my inbox in which you're asking me to buy a cd for you at the gig I just came home from! ;)

I think that's very unlikely, since PT and Opeth are both on a different touring schedule. About becoming a Dutch citizen: Are you sure it's worth the hassle?;)

Genesis - Lamb Lies Down live discs from the 'Archive 1967-75' set.  Pre-waning bliss *horns*

I don't suppose I'd have any better luck if I used the word 'waxing', would I?

It might be.  What sort of health insurance plan(s) do you have over there?

Single track: Dream Theater - Surrounded, from Chaos in Motion

I rarely play anything other than complete albums, but I wanted to hear this awesome rendition (it's the one that segues into 'Sugar Mice') and I haven't got time for the whole multi-CD extravaganza! 8)

Great album, generally.  The Britney and Abba covers are thankfully countered by Focus's 'Hocus Pocus' and R.E.M.'s 'Everybody Hurts' *horns*

Intriguing.  I'd think to properly cover Britney and Abba, you'd need a band like, say, Motörhead.

Britney's already proven to be fertile, but do we really want to see what might sprout from that garden?

Mott the Hoople - Live (30th Anniversary Edition) Broadway CD

Not just an awesome recording of an awesome band at their peak, but the various sleeve notes make for interesting reading - in a name-dropping, 1970s, who's-who kind of way.

"David Bowie and Mick Jagger had danced at the side of the stage behind Morgan Fisher throughout the second house"

"Jimmy Page tried to halt the descending marionettes, rival roadies grappled and Mott would not let a 'worse for wear' John Bonham play drums on 'All the Young Dudes', so violence ensued"

And Brian May's notes on the "only time Queen ever supported anyone" tour.

Gawd bless Rock'n'Roll *horns*
