Ah that's with Ozzy on vocals eh?
I've never heard Black Sabbath (Never plan to, 'cause I'm sure it isn't my thing), but I listened to his contribution on a R. Wakeman album and I thought he sings like a goat. :D I'm not sure if he sings like a goat normally, but on that album I didn't like his vocals.
:D :D - No, Ozzy always sounds like a goat!!

Correct, it was the first offering with Tony Martin on vocals. A very under rated singer in my opinion.

To be honest, I tend not to listen to too much Sabbath with Ozzy on vox - yes, they had some absolute monster tracks,(Black Sabbath, Iron Man, Paranoid, Children Of The Grave etc etc) and argueably even started off the whole Doom scene with the track Black Sabbath, but they also released a lot of duffers during Ozzy's time.
For me, Ronnie James Dio is the voice of Sabbath. Yes I know he only sang on 3 studio Sabbath albums (Heaven & Hell, Mob Rules and his short 'reunion' album Dehuminizer) but he is the voice of metal, a true metal GOD *horns* *horns*. Tony Martin would be my second favourite (he sang on 5 studio albums, the best being TYR and Headless Cross, then I guess Ozzy just ahead of Ian Gillan and Glenn Hughes!! I also have it in the back of my mind that for a very short time Rob Halford (or someone of a similar standing) stood in as vocalist on a tour way back, but never laid anything down in the studio.

Anyway, I will be listening shortly to some mp3's just downloaded from the Communic website from their new album Waves of Visual Decay - meant to be prog metal so should be good *horns*

Hmm... still Black Sabbath sounds like it's nothing for me. The name on itself makes me wanna listen to Neal Morse quickly. ;D

But I don't!
I listen to Arena - Contagion - Ascension! ;) :D

Cyborg-Frask

Stream Of Passion - Life In The Real World DVD/CD - Valley Of The Queens

It's just a sample that you can download for free on they're website...but it sounds sooo good
That new beat in it makes the songs complety differend

QuoteBut I don't!
Whahahah :D LOL...

I'm listening to Marillion - This is The 21st Century

Cool.

I was searching the internet and came across this:
http://marillion.com/music/xmas/2001.htm

It's a fan-release, so I can't buy this, but I'm very interested in the instrumental version of This Is The 21st Century, because it's one helluva song. The musical bits grab me by the throat every time I listen to it. Not that the vocals are bad on this one.
Does somebody here have it?

Now Listening to Dream Theater - Endless Sacrifice.
That's an amazing song, funny things in the middle.
It's one of my favourite heavy DT-songs along with The Glass Prison and Misunderstood.

Oh and The Mirror! Gonna listen that one now.

Ohh, that one is soo good. Listen to IQ since Subterranea and i really love their work. Though in the beginning i had to get used to Peter Nicholls voice.

Actually I had that just for a couple of minutes and then I was used to his (absolutely brilliant) voice.

AM I LISTENING TO ARENA?!?!?!?!
This is sooooo great! The singer sounds so much like Paul Wrightson! And the whole keyboard playing is Arena-ish!
I wonder if it's only this song, or maybe the whole album is that great?
