Arena have been confirmed as headliners for the Trinity charity show at The Assembly in Leamington Spa on May 18.

They join a line-up that includes The Reasoning, Touchstone, Rob Reed And Friends, Lost In Vegas, Matt Stevens, Heather Findlay and Alan Reed. The event was originally intended to see The Reasoning, Touchstone and Magenta perform one full album each. However, with the news of Magenta singer Christina Booth's battle against cancer, the event has morphed into a full blown charity concert raising money for Cancer Research UK, Brain Tumour Research and Breast Cancer Breakthrough.

In a statement, the organisers state: "With great pleasure the Trinity team and Prog Magazine are happy to announce that Arena will headline the prog Charity Event on 18th May at The Assembly, Leamington Spa, completing the lineup.  Arena will be playing a full band set, other bands include The Reasoning, Touchstone and a special one off set by Rob Reed and Friends, Acoustic sets by Matt Stevens, Alan Reed and Heather Findlay, also The Rock Auction, hosted by Prog Editor Jerry Ewing with contributions from Steve Hackett, Roger Dean, Marillion, Magnum, The Darkness and many more... some amazing and unique items on offer."

Tickets for the event are priced at £20 and are available from http://www.leamingtonassembly.com/events.aspx.
