Glad to see the site up and running again.
Moon Halo - Chroma
New band with e.g. Iain Jennings (Mostly Autumn), Marc Atkinson (Riversea), David Clements (Riversea). You can hear a Riversea influence indeed, nice album.
Yes, I've also listened to this album a few times already since monday. Not bad at all. Very melodic. It's on my 'relisten list'.
Now listening to
Karfagen's new album "Birds Of Passage" which is really nice as well. For fans of The Flower Kings i'd say, a bit of Yes and Genesis in there too (but that's also Flower Kings).
The album is actually two big epics (
Birds Of Passage, Part 1 and
Part 2) of 20+ minute each. There's also two 'bonus tracks', which are not bad either.
Also looking forward to the new
Sons Of Apollo album. I listened to the three songs that were released already, and they are pretty cool. In fact, it reminded me that I haven't really listened good enough to their previous album, which I will do.
And also the two songs that were released by
Magnum are nice as well. I really like that sound. The new album should be good.
Another song that keeps coming up in my playlist is
Jonah: a very cool and quirky song by
Major Parkinson (who else?). Really, if you haven't heard about these guys, you should check out this song. It's weird, but catchy too!
(Here it is!)
