Nothing quite new, but they are so good at what they do. Awesome album.

Comedy Of Errors - Fanfare & Fantasy
Where have I been? I know this album was mentioned quite a lot but I never went ahead and gave it a listen. Until last week. Great 'British' sounding band. The singer reminds me of Nick Barrett in his early years, the music, especially the guitarsound reminds me of Arena/John Mitchell. Another awesome album.

Tremonti - Cauterize
I already loved his last album 'All I Was' but this second solo-album sounds a lot more coherent, more mature. And another awesome album.

Thin Lizzy - Renegade

A classic and a sure pick when you are in the mood for some gorgeous "soft" hard rock 

It reminds me of BÖC' Fire Of Unknown Origin, not so much because the music sounds alike on these albums but more because they both rock big time while being at the same time highly melodic and even poppy (in a good way) at times. Two must-have !

Galahad ~ Battle Scars

This album holds one of the best songs, if not THE best song of 2012!

I have both "Battle Scars" and "Beyond The Realms Of Euphoria" and I think I have played them once or twice.
At times the singer sounds like Peter Nicholls, which I liked. But overall I was disappointed. They were lauded as having written one (or actually two) of the best albums that year.
I can't hear it, but now that you seem to like it, I'll try again.

I have been listening to Dream Theater's "Octavarium" today. It was my introduction to this band, and it still is one of my favourites. In my opinion they lost it a bit after this album.

Now listening to:
Rhapsody - "Legendary Tales"

Wow, maximum cheese here. But it's fun so far. (I like cheese.) I'll probably be very tired afterwards. As I've mentioned before, I'm not fond of machine gun drumming. But it's not constantly present, so I'll be okay.
