Also just listened to Agenda today! At first I didn't know if I liked it or not. It's so different from the usual Neal Morse stuff. But it made me feel so happy, so I just cannot not like it. ;)
Waiting for the whole album! Should be awesome!

Didn't know (can't remember) you are into Muse. 8) album indeed!

jp: Asia - Aria
np: Sound Of Contact - Dimensionaut

I've heard the title track and 'Agenda' from The Neal Morse band album too. Not so enthusiastic (yet) about both tracks. But I've heard the track 'The Call', which is awesome! It's here: The Call

Didn't know (can't remember) you are into Muse. 8) album indeed!

I got caught by Muse some years ago and bought Origin, Absolution, and Black Holes. I quite liked them, but then there was so much other music ;), and Muse didn't get it right for me. I lent out Black Holes to a friend (at the time), who vanished and never gave it back to me (know that thingy, guys ? ;) ). Then I started missing it, bought it (cheaply), and it really clicked this time, I've had it on repeat for some days.

Got three of the songs in my classic songs list 8)

"Absolution" is a real gem as far as I know.
I bought that album along with "Showbiz" and "The 2nd Law" a few weeks ago. I also want the other albums, because "Origin Of Symmetry" (especially) is also a fantastic album, full of energy.

maddox

Never really liked Muse, thought it was just another britpop band.

That was until Black Holes and Revelations.

Now I even consider H.A.A.R.P. as one of the best live albums (pop/rock) ever made.
Cause of Injury: Lack of Adhesive Ducks.

So many people like Muse : I only like some of their songs ... but no so many.

It's on the way, but with Black Holes, Muse really get it right, brilliant and varied album *horns*

I consider the last three Muse albums my favourite ones. Really like the last two, more 'electronic' music. A new album will be released this year, it will be more guitar oriented. Very curious, bring it on *horns*.

jp: Steve Lukather - Candyman
np: The Neal Morse Band - The Grand Experiment

Disc one is 8). Disc two is now playing, nice work too. And there's also a disc 3, the making of on DVD. Neal Morse is spoiling us again :).

Great album, new album 'Home' to be released next week. Has to wait though, have chosen for the Lonely Robot album. Can't have it all ::).

Crimson Glory is another group that never got due appreciation :(

Unique sound, power, melody ... in a word ;) super progressive melodic metal *horns*

More interesting than enjoyable atm, but let's see ... 8)

I expect that Funky and Mad have listened to Celtic Frost :)

NP: Neal Morse - Sola Scriptura
I still consider this to be the very best Neal Morse solo-album. How about a top-5 guys? ;D

Here's mine:
1 - Sola Scriptura What can I say? Amazing album. Best track The Door. That solo at the end! :o *horns*
2 - Testimony 2 Fantastic album, better than Testimony 1. Seeds Of Gold on disc 2 may be the very best song Neal ever wrote.
3 - Songs From November Even the wife likes this one!
4 - ? My introduction to Neal Morse solo. Still a very good album.
5 - Momentum More accessible... Until World Without End.

Tom

Right, the list above needs to be altered. Here's the updated version:

1 - The Grand Experiment Making this a real band-album is the best decision Neal has ever made. This album sounds so fresh and full of energy. I can't stop playing it.

That's better. ;D

LOL. Great album indeed, sounding fresh and less predictable. Really dig this album 8).

Gazpacho - Bravo
Lonely Robot - Please Come Home (Only heard it once so far. Needs a few more listenings, it's a cross between Frost*, Arena and sometimes it reminds me of Blind Ego during 'Numb' album).
