Major Parkinson - "Twilight Cinema"

I came across a few positive reviews and decided to take a listen. I remember having seen this name before.
It is pretty impressive. Pretty strange too. Bit Tom Waits-y vocals. Actually, I don't know what to make of it. It is interesting though.

Anyone familiar with this band?

No, but I'll take a look. The Waits-y vocals sound intriguing. I can't help but think of "What's He Building" when I see/hear Tom Waits' name...

The girl has gone but she seems to have no regrets. I am thinking of buying the last DVD of her new band (I won't mention the name to spare Nicky's feelings ...).

Their first. Very much like the title says: doomy & gloomy. I'm working on apprehending it, but I have to take it in parts, unlike the five other albums. There are two songs that I like a lot: The title song, and Into The Silent Chambers Of The Sapphirean Throne.

I have an OSI moment. Yesterday I listened to "Blood" and "Fire Make Thunder" and now this one.
Since the pattern is three years between each album I guess we have to wait till 2015 for a new album by these guys.

TesseracT are pantheon with me, on the basis of their brilliant One. I also saw them live last autumn, super concert

Haven't yet heard Altered States, but I'm sure that it's just as great.

The concept "tesseract" is intriguing too - check it up, guys

Their first and second, very different. Interesting to probe how Lemuria developed into UT, Sagoth-style
