I guess this is the best EP in my collection. Ermmm... at least when I don't count "Contagious" and "Contagium".
The Wide Open Sea is veeeery nice. It's sad to know that people who don't have this EP miss out on the beauty of these songs.

At the moment I'm predicting Rush to be my next object of a Now Playing post.
Let's see...

NP Kate Bush - Never For Ever

By the time of its release, I found this album very sophisticated but lacking energy and simplicity : it let me a bit disappointed.

Now, almost 35 years later, I find that it aged very well : it is just great

In my book, Kate Bush and Robbie Williams did the same thing: They managed to make one really fabulous song, in Kate's case Wuthering Heights, and Robbie's Feel ... and then lost it: Never again would they make anything even close to that magic. Very interesting

What do you like so much about them?

It's a very versatile album: ballads, heavier stuff and even a waltz (dedicated to Peter Banks, who also played on this album). And Rick Wakeman did a great solo on the track 'The Eggshell Man'. You can hear it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtBeYotQwEo after about 9 minutes.

I did, several times because of some enthusiasm on this forum , but their music doesn't seem to appeal to me ... . I'll give it another try.

But Progwereld is pretty positive about them!
