Big Big Train - English Electric Part One
Mystery - The World Is A Game
Enochian Theory - Life ... And All It Entails

Beautiful Sin - [The Unexpected - #05] - The Spark Of Ignition     *horns*

Magalie Luyten and Uli Kusch... what an absolutely bad rocker. Good for lazy Sunday evenings... ;)

Heart - [These Dreams - Heart's Greatest Hits - 1997 - #03] - If Looks Could Kill
up next. classic.
Arriving somewhere, but not here....

Peter

while Heart is running, I'm digging out the other stuff from them. Theses ladies surely have fantastic voices, alone, and even more so when singing together. Totally underrated.

Heart - [Brigade - 1990 - #08] - Under The Sky

Wow. A bit cheesy, but stunning nevertheless.

Yes... I know.

8) Paxi.

Very demanding and edifying music  *horns*

Played:

Benny Anderssons orkester:  O klang och jubeltid  (O Resonance and Time to Rejoice)

Benny is one of the B's in ABBA - gotten a bit older since then  ;)

The other B, Björn Ulveus, writes most of the lyrics for the band.

Here's a nice song from the album:

Isnt she sweet  :-* :-*

Her name is Helen Sjöholm.

The guy to the left of her, Tommy Körberg, is also worth keepin an ear out for  ;)

Swedish folk music when it's best  8)

I'm not gonna translate the lyrics for you guys, cuz that would divert your attention from the music  ;)

Beyond Twilight:  For the Love of Art and the Making  *horns*

BT is a Danish progmetal band led by keyboardist Finn Zierler. For the Love is their latest album, from 2006. I bought their three studio albums some years ago on the recommendation of a good friend. They didnt impress my much at the time, so they'v been lying dormant in my cd-collection ... but now I decided that I'd give'm another run, and this time I'm duly impressed  :)

I like the Mystery album but I am not overwhelmed so far. The artwork is great though. Their previous album is on progstreamingclassic but I still have to check it.

NP Marathon - The First Run

More and more impressed by this one, to the point that it has become my favorite Dutch prog album. I will check their second and last album if I have the opportunity (not easy to find) and I will check ENorm too. Are ENorm popular in Netherlands ? Are they tagged as prog or classic rock ?

Really like the album 'The World Is A Game'. The voice of Benoît David looks a lot like Jon Anderson, but fortunately the music is way better than Yes, which is making me nervous. All IMHO of course, I know some people like Yes over here ;).

Mystery - One Among The Living  (also 8))
Cosmograf - The Man Left In Space
'I will surrender my heart to the sky
Oh, our love doesn't end here, it lives forever on the wings of time'

He indeed does sound like Jon A. but overall I think that his voice is more powerful than Jon A.
Which makes him a better singer in my book.
Jon A. is mostly the reason why I don't really like the music of Yes.

np> Kingcrow ~ In Crescendo  *horns* *horns*

Strange thing is that I do like his voice in the music of Jon & Vangelis. In a way his voice suits this music ::).

NP  Andersen / Laine / Readman:  III (Three)  *horns*

Andersen´s first name is André  ;)

Not as good as Royal Hunt and the albums he's released under his own name, but still the magic is unmistakeable  :)
