Tom

I've heard some good things about it.
Though it follows the same Symphony X path we all know, it seems that the album sounds a bit like the beginning of S.X. meaning that it sounds like The Divine Wings of Tragedy and The Damnation Game.
Is this true?

It doesn't sound like a particular album, it 'just' sounds like Symphony X so I don't think you can go wrong with this one. It's pretty aggressive in the vocal department again, with Russell Allen's raspy (yet very melodic) vocals. Musically it's a bit more complex than Paradise Lost. Not that Paradise Lost was easy listening, but you know what I mean... :D

The track that hints to the past most is When All Is Lost. It reminds me of The Odyssey (the album, not the track! ;)). Great song! *horns*

Ah, don't do it for me, I just give the assist. All you have to do is to kick the ball it in the net, so to speak... ;D

I have copies of most of the DT albums but never seem to get round to listening to them which is my loss.

Trying to put that right over the next couple of days

Devin Townsend - "Ghost"

Sounds pleasant. Not really his style, but I find it interesting. Beautiful.

I'm looking forward to it.  I've got both of the remaining Devin Townsend Project CDs on pre-order.  For some reason, even though he's over here in North America, his albums come out in Europe first.   :P

I like mozzarella, mascarpone, gorgonzola, ricotta and such, but Italian metal is too cheesy for me.
